What is a good audience size for FB/Instagram ads? Does anyone have an answer?

Hi, When starting out my Facebook campaigns I am often confused about what is a good audience size? Facebook seems to say that the audience is defined when there are 5 million people in the audience and also when there are 500K people in the audience. I have often seen better results after reducing the size of my audience but then the problem of scalability comes up. So can anyone here help me understand what a good audience size is to test out different audience assumptions ?

Adam from Altitude Marketing here. It’s time to cover an incredibly important – but often overlooked – topic: web accessibility. Most folks are mostly familiar with accessibility from those spam emails and LinkedIn messages: “Your landing page isn’t ADA compliant! You could get sued!” And yeah, that’s a thing. There were 2,256 website accessibility lawsuits filed in U.S. federal courts in 2019. But web accessibility isn’t about not getting sued. It’s about doing the right thing. Everyone should have access to everything on the web, regardless of their differences. Beyond that (and slightly more selfishly), you pour your heart and soul into your landing pages. They’re hard work. If you don’t pay attention to accessibility, you’re by definition making them inaccessible to some percentage of the population. There are a number of web accessibility standards out there. The current archetype is WCAG 2.1, developed by the World Wide Web Consortium. There are multiple levels of WCAG standards:

Split screen scrolling (or vertical sticky column)

I see a lot of ways of doing a horizontal sticky bar but what about a vertical one, where one side of the screen “sticks” and the other side keeps scrolling. How to Create the Faded Logo Effect

Most of my pages include what I call a Logo Bar. It’s a section that features the logos of brands that are suppliers, partners, clients, affiliates, etc. Well-known brands can create some authority by association. Here’s an example. Logo Bar31334×206 13.7 KB In the past, I would create the faded logos in Photoshop and make them compliment the color scheme of the page. Finally a “light bulb” came on and I realized this was easy to accomplish in Unbounce. Place the solid black logo images in a new section. Insert a box on top of the images (make sure the images do not go “inside” the box. Choose a color and opacity for the box that achieves the effect you need. For the section background, choose Solid Color and use the same settings as the box. Preview the result and adjust the opacity as needed.

Any landing page strategies to prevent the entry of false details?

Hey everyone. We have what we believe are some pretty good landing pages with great copy and very well set up Adwords campaigns with high quality scores. Nonetheless we consistently get people entering false details both on purpose and (possibly) by mistake. In some instances obviously the user wants the eBook we are offering without the follow-up call from sales so it’s obvious why this happens here. But on other (multi-step) landing pages with no clear pay-off at the end that we can see, users run through the steps and then leave false details. It’s frustrating and baffling at the same time. We have put it down to simply “online lead gen”, ie. it comes with the territory. Does anyone also experience this also? We get about 10% of submissions containing false details on average. Does anyone have any tactics on reducing false details? We have thought of incentivising the entry of correct contact information but beyond that are now starting to wonder whether our landing pages have a pro

Dynamic Section or Box Height for Leads Hook Decision Tree

Hello, Has anyone have a way to make a Section or Box height automatically adjust for a Custom HTML containing Leads Hook Decision Tree? I’ve tried everything I can find but to no avail. Hoping someone can help me solve this issue. Heads-Hook1484×869 57.1 KB As you can see in above image. I am trying to get the section where the decision tree is located adjust its height automatically to the height of the decision tree form and not overlap on the blue section below it. Unbounce Facebook Advertisers: Form Submission Event...

This is for anyone running Facebook ad on an Unbounce page… I just switched my landing pages to Unbounce from my Squarspace site. I’ve always ran my lading pages on SS. SS has a built in Meta Pixel configuration. You just put in your pixel id and it adds the pixel code to all the pages. I’ve gone through the UB pixle configuration and added the pixel code to my UB site. When I use the FB event testing tool, it shows that the pixel is firing properly. The problem comes in with the event UB is sending to the pixel for a form submission. On SS, when an equivalent form is submitted, it send FB a “Lead” event. This in turn gets registered as a lead conversion on my FB ads. On UB however, the event is “SubscribedButtonClick” which does NOT get registered as a lead conversion. Why is UB not sending a “Lead” for this event? This now means that in order to trigger a lead, I have to set up a custom event on FB and set it to a “post submission page" after the UB form is submitted. This works, but

Hey there! If my form confirmation page URL is https://passageiro.99taxis.com/promo?PHONE=11999988888 and a marketing-tracking pixel installed in the confirmation page is script type=‘text/javascript’ src=“https://track.omguk.com/875369/transaction.asp?APPID=”" Where the script parameter APPID needs to be populated with the URL parameter PHONE. Is it possible? If so, how should I do it?

Adding video to mobile header

Hey guys, many websites display a video on their website on mobile websites. I’ve noticed that typically there is a gap of 1-3 seconds where the video look like so, then a clip plays: Screenshot_20201002-144049996×2048 194 KB How can I create the same thing? Apparently a regular video background does not play on mobile and embedding from my source displays a title, play button etc. Thanks!

Facebook Ads - Optimize for Link Clicks VS Landing Page Views

Hey guys, 😊 I’d love to hear your thoughts about this topic. I’ve been testing 2 different options of “Optimization for Ad Delivery” on Facebook. One is ‘Landing Page Views’ and the other one is ‘Link Clicks’. My tests so far are mixed and not conclusive. From your experience, is there any difference in performance, cost, CTR… using one or the other (even the quality of the traffic that goes to the Landing Page?)? Thanks for your inputs! Page speed | next level

Hi I’m hoping to reduce my page speed as much as is humanly possible. I’m doing all (most?) of the basics like using small image files, not numerous fonts etc. I know Unbounce also does a fair bit in the background re page speed. But are there any things I could be doing to give it an extra speed boost? Can I do anything special with my domain hosting for example? Or is there a service I can sign up to that takes the page speed to the highest level? FYI I’m using Unbounce, with a single imported Google Font, and I have an embedded form by LeadsHook.Thanks for any help folks!Steve
