close a popup using javascript

How can I close a popup from a script? What I mean by that is that I have a clickable text element. I have a custom script in the popup which sends a message to the parent page. Once that is complete I want to close the popup. Is this possible?

How can I set my Wordpress homepage as my Unbounce landing page

and then have the form confirmation go back to the main About page of my site? Hi! Just started with Unbounce after hearing lots about it, and I love what it’s made so far. However, I’m having some trouble getting the right flow going. Desired result: Visitor goes to my site, http://susansu.com Visitor sees the Unbounce landing page (currently at http://start.susansu.com/newsletter) Visitor signs up Visitor is redirected EITHER to page at http://susansu.com/about or a custom thank you page I followed the instructions here (http://support.unbounce.com/entries/2…) to set up the custom domain, and also set up forwarding in my godaddy account to have my susansu.com homepage go to that Unbounce landing page. The problem was… the forwarding was at the domain level, so everything with susansu.com as the root domain (such as susansu.com/xyz) would redirect to start.susansu.com/xyz, which doesn’t exist. I guess it’s a bit circular if I want my homepage to show the Ub landing page, and then f

Want to Capture and pass browser language to WhatConverts

What I want to achieve: Capture user’s browser language and pass it to WhatConverts. Prefereably without making the field visible. What I have tried:Created a javascript to capture the browser language. Created a hidden field inside the lightbox form. Proceeded to store the value in that hidden field. Waited for it to show as mapping field option inside WhatConverts app. [Did not happen] Reached out to Support on WhatConverts and Unbounce.Output:Neither could do it out of the box and keep mentioning custom code. Unbounce just said I should use additional form software. WhatConverts support was more helpful and suggested that I put the field as a visible and then their app would be able to capture that field. However, that would be my last option considering that it would be showing the fields that don’t need to get showcasedClassic Builer

Overlay that triggers javascript on parent frame

Hello! Is it possible to have an unbounce popup trigger/execute Javascript on the parent frame (not an unbounce page) if the user clicks a button? Here’s my situation : we have a page -not an unbounce page- on which some elements are made visible only with javascript (so no change in url). I would like to build a popup on which, if the CTA is clicked, closes and then executes the JS on the parent frame (the page on which the popup is shown). Has any of you had a similar case? Need help for conditional form fields script

Running 2 jQuery scripts on the same landing page

hey guys,excuse me if i sound really really clueless in this post - i’m not a developer and this is my first attempt at designing a website since 6th grade, so please bear with me.i am attempting to build a landing page with two different little widgets on it:  an FAQ accordion widget (https://websales.gumroad.com/l/unbounce-accordion-faq)a carousel for testimonials my problem is - i cannot get both working at the same time.  i did some quick google searching and realized it may be because i was trying to run two different versions of jQuery.  so, i updated the javascript of the jQuery for the testimonial carousel to be the same version of jQuery as the accordion widget - still no luck.when i remove the FAQ accordion javascript - the testimonial widget works.  when i remove the testimonial widget - the FAQ accordion works.is there a clean way to integrate both of these?here is the javascript code for the FAQ:<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.5.1.slim.min.js"></scri

Pass Data to Hidden Form Field from Pop-up Trigger?

Hi there,I have a geo-targeted pop-up and would like to pass data to a hidden form field that is consistent across all of our landing pages. The logic I’m trying to use would be this:Pop-up or sticky bar fires based on user’s location That pop-up or sticky bar loading triggers data to be added to a hidden field on the landing page’s form On form fill, that hidden data gets passed along and I’m able to filter those specific leads automaticallyIs there a way that I can pass data automatically to that hidden form regardless of the user’s interaction or lack thereof with the sticky bar or pop-up? Essentially, if Unbounce decides to fire that bar/pop-up, I want the hidden field to read TRUE.

Data Validation For Field - Restrict to numbers only

Hi everyone, I am using unbounce to collect leads for car finance. Once the form is submitted, the lead is transferred into my CRM (custom CRM). The issue I’m having is, when the prospect enters any kind of symbol ($,.-) etc, my CRM will not accept the lead. Is there a way that I can restrict this form field to only accept numbers? Tracking traffic in GA from website to unbounce and back to website

Hello, I’m wondering if anyone has been able to successfully track end to end journeys in G4 which involved going from a website, out to unbounce and back into a website again? We will be sending traffic to the unbounce page from our website but also directly from paid ads. We want to make sure that the prior (users from our website) aren’t being categorised as referrals from unbounce in GA4 when they originated from our website. We do however want the paid ads traffic to be categorised as unbounce referrals.We only seem to be able to see these users come back in as a referral in GA4, I think. Many thanks,Amy

Google Displays Website Title as "Untitled" With No Description

Hellos, when I go to search my page on google the website title is displayed as “Untitled” with a description that explains java script needs to be enabled (this seems like filler). I have changed the metadata settings including Title, Description, and Keywords but I am not seeing these changed reflected when searching for my site on google. I am also unsure of it is possible to edit the code to edit <head> and change the title. please help.

Changing the URL name for different sections

Hello everybody, I just finished building my landing page, and I was wondering how to set custom links for my page.For example: When a user clicks on “about us” the link would say bnbbud.com/aboutus. For example, When a user clicks on “benefits,” the link would say bnbbud.com/benefits.Right now, the page is just https://bnbbud.com, but I'd like it to change for each different section I’ve created.

Conditionnal URL from form text

Hi everyone!  I am trying to find a way to make a conditional URL link after a form submission based on a form field and at this point my very limited knowledge of javascript blocks me. What I am trying to achieve is that if a user inputs a specific word as an answer to a single line text field , it leads to URL #1, otherwise if its anything else than that specific word, it goes to URL #2.Lets say the word I am looking for is hello so whenever a user inputs hello (regardless of lower case/uppercase), he is redirected to a first URL after hitting the submit button and for any other answer, it leads to another webpage.  Does anyone know of a script that would work for me?Hope my explanation is clear, thanks in advance for your help!

How do you render custom fonts in the editor?

I’ve seen a few posts on here abut Typekit fonts not rendering in the editor from 7+ years ago. (Like this and this and this) Has a good fix or workaround ever been figured out? It takes forever to nudge everything around after publishing and viewing it.

Render fonts in editor and build landing pages faster!

Hey all! Thought I would share a simple trick which will help all of you out there using custom fonts but who are struggling to type set them due to lack of font rendering in the editor. The Problem: @font-face kits and other fonts don’t always render in the editor making it extremely difficult and slow to type set your landing pages. The Solution: By using a css injection browser extension you can simply copy and paste the font kit css into it while using the editor and wah-lah your fonts are now rendering correctly provided you have added the font in the style attribute of your text. As I use chrome my extension plugin of choice is Styler as it saves the css for the domain so you can come back to the editor without loosing any css. I copy the font kit css for example: @font-face {  font-family: ‘Acrom-Regular’;__  src: url('https://fontsite.com/yourfont.eot’) format(‘embedded-opentype’),            url('https://fontsite.com/yourfont.otf’)  format(‘opentype’),          url('https://fo

How do I rename the layers in Contents

I am aware that this is a very basic question, but somehow I’m unable to rename the layers in the Content column.I can’t rename Sections for example. It’s quite confusing.I’m using Win10 and Chrome (with a few extensions) and like what is shown here in this video, it’s doable. I’ve tested on Edge with the same results.Is there something in my browser that I can check? I’ve double clicked furiously on the name and icon of the layers to no avail.
