Adding custom validation to form fields

If you want to add more specific form validation rules, you can do that using custom JavaScript! How to Install in Unbounce Click Here for Instructions 🚨 This is not an official Unbounce feature. This functionality is based entirely on third party code, and has only been tested in limited applications. Since this isn’t a supported Unbounce feature, our support team will be unable to assist if things go awry. So if you are not comfortable with HTML, Javascript and CSS, please consider consulting an experienced developer. Part 1: Define a validation rule Copy the following script and paste it into the Javascripts section of the builder: <script> window.ub.form.customValidators.myCustomRule = { isValid: function(value) { return value === 'I accept'; }, message: 'Your entry is invalid', }; </script> Replace myCustomRule with a unique ID (name) for the rule. You’ll need this later. Replace isValid with a function that takes the value

Landing Page Custom Validation

Hi All, I wanted to add custom validation to my landing page. I tried to used Javascript codes but it’s not working. Here’s the validation need. User need to at least select 1 checkbox before they submit User need to input the text box field if they select Others(checkbox) Thank you.

Live website doesn't show correct elements

Dear sir/madam & Unbounce Community I face an urgent issue with one of the pages that I have in Unbound. The page has the name: Try and Buy: Kawasaki (NL-NL) and is on url: https://actie.motoshare.nl/kawasaki/ Certainly the live version of this pages on desktop doesn’t show the elements in the correct position. However when I look in the editor on Unbounce and the preview version, it all looks fine. I tried on Safari and Google Chrome. Removed my cookies and cache history and checked on multiple devices but problem seems to occur everywhere. I’ve attached some screenshots with comments between the difference of the pag how it looks in Unbounce editor and the Unbounce preview page compared with the actual live version. Please help me out how to solve this problem and why the live website is showing something different then what i’ve built.

Is anyone familiar with natively integrating Stripe on classic pages? So when one clicks a button to buy, a popup appears and is linked to Stripe? I’m familiar with stripe hosted checkout pages and that's not what I’m looking for.

Font Family isn't updating in CSS Style Sheet

I’ve been trying to create a style sheet for my landing page so that I can update all items from a same class at once.I created the classes and added them to the style sheet. Things like color do update but for some reason anything related to fonts doesn’t update on the page (in preview and live modes).I asked support for help but they told me to ask the community. Can anyone help?

Help Needed: Sticky Bar Not Displaying After Following All Steps

Hello Hivemind! I've run into a bit of a hiccup with the Sticky Bar feature.After following all the steps provided in the documentation, clearing the cache, and ensuring everything should be set up correctly, the Sticky Bar is still not making an appearance on the site.Here’s what I’ve done so far:Created the Sticky Bar and customized it as necessary. Checked that the Sticky Bar is published and the URL targeting is configured correctly. Cleared browser cache and cookies. Tried accessing the site from different devices and browsers to rule out client-side caching issues. Verified that there are no settings enabled that might be hiding the Sticky Bar, like scheduling settings. Despite these troubleshooting steps, the Sticky Bar remains invisible.I have not tried this yet: Checked for any script conflicts that might prevent the Sticky Bar from loading.Are there any scripts that could cause these issue? Before I contact support, I wanted to check in here – has anyone else faced similar is

Custom form validation for phone number

I am trying to add phone validation on form submit. Main goal is: if phone starts not on “39” or “+39” add this numbers before the number and submit. Code is added via script manager just before tag. But it doesn’t work on submit. Form submitting and script bellow not even triggers. But script works fine in console and jsfiddle. And I don’t have any errors in browser console. This form in only one form on the page. Favicon not working?

Google Ads Phone Conversion Tracking with Number Replacement

This is a guide on how to set up Google Ads phone call tracking for Unbounce pages in Classic Builder. Step 1: Create a button Create a phone number button with the following click action and label settings:Note: set the Border option to None so that the phone button appears like text if preferred.Select it as a conversion goal if you would like to track it as a conversion in Unbounce: Step 2: Install Google scriptsMake sure that the Google Ads main and conversion snippets are installed on each variant and not in the Script Manager. This is due to the following limitations:To replace a phone number, we will need a button ID, which is specific to each button on each variant. Smart Builder Discontinued?

I just signed up for Unbounce… mostly because of things I’ve read about Smart Builder.  When I try to create a new lading page I don’t see an option for Smart Builder so I contacted support and they said they are no longer offering it to anyone who signed up after April 10th.What is going on?  Are they discontinuing it?

Classic builder CSS style sheet

I'm looking to update the H1 tag across my page and update these parameters: color, font-family, and font-size. Here's the CSS I wrote:<style>  .h1 {    color: Red    font-family: "Times New Roman", Times, serif    font-size:16px} </style> When I preview, the color updates, but the Unbounce classes are taking priority for the other parameters.I've tried including !important in my CSS, but it's still not becoming the priority.Does anyone have experience updating the H1 class for these parameters?

Improve Page speed on my landing page

https://go.aegis-hedging.com/commodity-trading-and-risk-management-software/ Mobile is reporting back at 64. and 82 for desktop. I have Growform integrated as the main form but that seems to be fast when I test it.How do I remove other third-party code of extra code that doesn’t need to be there? What about changing fonts?Any help or instructions are appreciated! (not a developer)

Can I change the redirect URI on a registered OAuth app?

Hello everyone. I have an existing OAuth integration with Unbounce, so I have the client ID and client secret already. Due to some rearchitecting, we need to change the redirect URI to a new location. Is there a way to do this without registering a new app? I could not find anything listed in the docs, and the original developer that built this integration hasn’t been with the company in years, so if there’s a management portal to log in to, we don’t have access to those credentials.Thank you!

Trying to add a border on edge of desktop.

This landing page branding (not ours) has been giving us issues. I want to add this png border to the edge of the page. I can extend it all the way there even if it’s out of bounds but it usually snaps back to no longer being on the edge. Any solutions out there? Something that’s pretty clear that I am missing?  Note: that this currently isn’t a part of our background image.
