Hello everyone!We’ve made improvements to variant tracking for Unbounce pages in Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This update allows GA4 users to better understand variant-specific performance with the variant_id property included for all events—including page_view, form events, and the enhanced metrics that GA4 collects like scroll and form_start. If you’re already using GA4 with Unbounce you’ll want to take these steps to implement the update: 1. Re-save GA4 in your Script Manager2. Re-publish all pages that have the GA4 script appliedHere is a video walkthrough of those steps: And if you haven’t yet integrated GA4 with Unbounce, there are detailed instructions right here for getting started, creating custom dimensions to use variant_id in reports, and tracking form submissions as conversions. Note: It can take up to 24 hours for the updated variant tracking to populate in GA4.

GA4 integration—now available in Unbounce 🔥News

On July 1 2023, Google will be turning off Universal Analytics. In preparation, Unbounce has released a GA4 integration. You can now migrate your domains and data from the script manager. Here’s what you need to do to migrate your Unbounce domains over to GA4: Step 1: Go to Settings in your dashboard Step 2: Select Script manager Step 3: Select Add a Script Step 4: Scroll down to Google Analytics 4 and add your tracking code! Recent upgrades to the Unbounce plug-in in WordPress make pages much more resilient to cyberattacks.If you're using the Unbounce plug-in and don’t have auto-updates enabled, make sure to update to the latest version in your WordPress dashboard. Here are the instructions:1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard2. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins3. You’ll see an ‘update available’ notice for your Unbounce plugin4. Hit ‘update now’Note: Without updating your Unbounce plug-in, any Unbounce pages published to WordPress domains will stop working properly on November 15th, 2023. This update should only take a few minutes, and we recommend enabling auto-updates for changes we make in the future. Industry-specific benchmarks from thousands of Unbounce pages help gauge our performance vs. other marketers and narrow in on opportunities to optimize our conversion rates. To better understand how your performance compares to the average, we’ve made it easier to find these insights. Once you have enough traffic you’ll find them by hovering over your page ranking.
