Favicon not working?

Hi @synca, Thanks for your message. I checked out the 2 links and yes, I’m seeing the same thing. I have a couple of questions for you:Was the favicon link added at the domain level via Script Manager or in the ‘Javascripts’ section in the editor? Looking at the link in the page source, I see there’s a space between the favicon URL and the script closing tag. Could you try removing this space and republishing the page to see if it makes a difference? Have you contacted our Support team to rectify the problem? They would be the best people to ask in situations such as this.Finally, I wanted to let you know that we’ve recently made an update to the Classic Builder, where you can now add the favicon directly in the page properties. Simply upload the icon to your image library, select the image and it will automatically be added: Hope you manage to get it sorted - have a great day 😀

Hi @nellg, Thanks for posting here in the Community. I was able to open your page in preview mode without any issue. If you are still seeing the error message, have you tried disabling your cache and cookies, then reload the page? Or tried opening the app in Incognito mode? Hi @Daedan, Thanks for posting in the Community. Great question, by the way. The groups in Smart Builder automatically resize based on the size of the content housed inside it. In order to adjust the sizes, you can use the padding and alignment options in the sub-menu when you click on the groups. We have this documentation showing you how. If you are still encountering issue with the alignment/sizing of your groups, then I recommend reaching out to our lovely Support team, who would be happy to look into this further for you.

Allow users to add their own profile photo to landing page

Hey @Brad_Long1, Thanks for posting in the Community. Great question, btw. I can see that a file upload option would be necessary for your use case. The native Unbounce forms do not allow for such a feature. Your best bet here would be to embed a 3rd party form with that functionality, such as Jotform, 123Form Builder or Typeform. If you’re using the Classic Builder you can embed the form using the Custom HTML block. If you’re using the Smart Builder then we have apps for both Jotform and Typeform. Hope this helps to answer your query. Let me know if you need more info.

Add guidelines to the builder

Hi there @tdn, Thanks for posting here in this thread. This is quite an old thread and since then, we have implemented guidelines in the Classic Builder in order to make it easier for you to align your elements. Whilst we don’t have any specific documentation for this feature, you can try it out for yourself in the builder, or you can see it being used in our Classic Builder tutorial. Hope this helps you out - let me know if you need further clarification.

Capture the landing page URL in hidden field

Hi @SylvesterJ, Thanks for posting in the Community! You can capture the page URL by adding it to the default value field in the form editor (both Classic and Smart builder). I have made this short video for you to show you how. As for your second question, it would be difficult to tell without access to your edit page. However, the parameters are case sensitive, so please make sure that the value you added in the hidden fields are all lower case. Otherwise, I would recommend reaching out to our Support team about this, so that they can take a deeper dive into the issue. Here are the details about how best to contact them. Hope this helps!

1000 Error Code Displaying on my Unbounce pages

Hi @rwinvest-tech, Thanks for posting here in the Community. I’ve not come across this 1000 error code before, and nothing is showing up in searches for this error in Wordpress. I don’t know who your domain host provider is, but a 1000 error could be something to do with the way the DNS settings have been configured, as shown here. In any case, I think it would be best to contact ur Support team on this one, as they will have the tools to dig into this for you and point you in the best direction. Here’s how you can get in touch with them. I hope you manage to get it sorted 👍

Favicon not working

Hi there @B050893matthew, Thanks for the links. I’ve taken a look and it appears that the favicon link is incomplete. I believe it’s missing the ‘.co.uk’ part of the URL:  Could you take a look at the link added in your Script Manager and let me know if that’s the case? Hopefully this fixes the issue :-)

OK. I’ll have a play around and see if I can get it to work in the lightbox. For the time being, you could add a static button at the bottom of the lightbox which scrolls them to the top as that function is working.

Hmm,,, I think this might have something to do with the fact that lightboxes are iframed on top of the main page. I created this page, which has the back to top button both on the main page and in the lightbox. Whilst the fade in and out effect works just fine, as well as the scroll to top function, it just doesn’t move along when I scroll down the page. Is that what you’re experiencing too?

IP address collection

Hey there @MHowell, Thanks for posting in the Unbounce Community. Whilst I’m not aware of any 3rd party tool that provides that kind of service, you should be able to capture visitors’ IP addresses using some Javascript on the page. I found this example online. Do Google Analytics not also capture the IP address nowadays? One thing I would like to point out is that I’m not sure if this is GDPR compliant - you might need the visitor to opt in before capturing the IP address. Hope this helps - let me know if you have any questions.
