Updates to our WordPress domain plug-inNews

Hey everyone 👋🏻You may have heard about recent security enhancements to make Unbounce pages more resilient to cyberattacks, specifically DDoS attacks. For these updates to take effect, we require customers using the WordPress domain plug-in—which lets you publish Unbounce pages directly to a WordPress domain—to upgrade to a new version of the plug-in. This can be done directly in WordPress, the latest version is 1.1.2.As we finalize the transition to our new systems, we’re shutting down old versions of our WordPress plug-in. If you’re using an old version, you’ll want to update to 1.1.2 as soon as possible to keep your pages online. Here are the instructions: Log in to your WordPress dashboard Go to Plug-ins → Installed Plug-ins You’ll see an ‘update available’ notice for your Unbounce plug-in Hit ‘update now’ Next, go to ‘Unbounce Pages’ in your WordPress dashboard Hit ‘Update WordPress Enabled Domains’ Note: You need to perform steps 5 and 6 even if you have automatic up

With access to Smart Traffic being expanded to more of our customers last month, I wanted to share a quick walkthrough of how to use the tool to start boosting your conversion rates. To turn on Smart Traffic:Step 1: Go to your Unbounce dashboardStep 2: Select your pageStep 3: Switch from ‘Standard’ page traffic mode to ‘Smart Traffic’Step 4: Create as many page variants as you’d like to includeStep 5: Republish!Where to turn on Smart Traffic in the Unbounce dashboard. Once Smart Traffic has completed its learning phase (about 30 visitors), it will start routing different visitors to the pages with the highest likelihood for them to convert. And as Smart Traffic optimizes and learns your visitors’ behaviors, you’ll see a lift in conversions. Creating Variants - Where To Begin?

Hey everyone! As promised, I’m kicking off our series of tips and tricks to optimize your landing pages for high conversion. Whether you’re just getting started building your landing pages in Unbounce, or if you’re a seasoned pro looking to get the most out of Smart Traffic – there’s something in here for you. Variant Creation – Where To Start? First I’ll explain why to create variants for your landing pages: When you build just one landing page, you’re limiting yourself from being able to appeal to a wider audience. Even with traditional A/B testing, that’s still suggesting that there’s a “one-winner-fits-all” landing page, which as we’ve discovered isn’t true at all. By creating multiple variants, you’re giving your landing pages the highest chance of success by appealing to many different kinds of visitors. Perhaps your visitors are on mobile devices, or they’re located in a specific region, or they match a certain demographic. Whatever it is, there’s a way for you to create content
