Meta Description + Keywords SEO

Hi, I was told by the expert in SEO that keywords appear first in the landing page html code, and therefore they appear in the Google results instead the description. How can I change the order in the code to avoiid this unfortunate event? Thanks!

Can social media logos act as trust symbols?

I was just reading another thread which recommended removing social icons as they detract from the call to action and potentially drive traffic off site. Generally I would agree - detracting from call to action = bad, drive traffic off site = very bad! We do have them on some of our pages however - generally when we are struggling for traditional trust symbols - our first port of call is association memberships, awards wins - accreditations etc. But some times you work with companies who have nothing to work with in this respect. So we roll out the social icons… but they are not links… Although this is something we use often, I don’t think we have ever tested it’s effectiveness 🙁 What do people think - do they work as trust symbols? potential negative effect by not having links on them?

Publish those popups!

Hey guys! I have a very short story to tell… I published a very simple popup for a customer that reiterates a time-sensitive deal for residential TV & Internet. We immediately saw results (in under 48 hours) 🔥 ! It took us about an hour to design, integrate, and publish this particular popup and the amount of missed opportunities we’re now capturing is astonishing. If you find yourself unsure (or procrastinating) about publishing your popups - just do it!

Facebook Learning Phase for Link Clicks

Hello, I want to know one thing about getting lower CPC and learning phase at Facebook Adverts. Does Facebook run any learning phase for Link Clicks too? For example when we choose traffic at the beginning of creating an ad. And then run an Image ad for just Desktop traffic. I targeted custom audience and the advert CPC cost me $0.20 for the first day, $0.14 for the second day and CPC decreased to $0.07 at the third day, it stayed that low for around 3 days but afterwards increased to $0.25. Then I ran another advert for the same audience, the CTR and relevancy score is same but I am not getting the CPC below $0.18. It’s been 20 hours since the new ad is up and running. Does Facebook have any secret learning phase during link clicks? Please let me know. How can I get lower CPC for Desktop traffic? Thanks

Popups: Q&A with Finge Holden ⭐

Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to sit down with one of our Unbounce Experts, Finge Holden. Finge is the founder of ConversionLab in Trondheim, Norway, and has seen much success using popups and sticky bars in his campaigns. I asked him a series of questions regarding his experience with popups to get to the bottom of how they can be used to maximize conversions. What should be the first popup that users should try? (Blog subscription, content download, etc.) Finge prefers email drip series. Offering an ebook (for example) allows you to get a visitor’s email address, but that’s it. If you have a drip series, say 5 emails over a period of 10 days, that would allow you to divide the content into 5 digestible pieces. Having some sort of gated content (for example, a blog post), as long as it’s valuable and related to the content on your landing pages, gives you a further opportunity to engage with your visitors. What’s “the trick” to using popups and sticky bars successfully?

How to pass a URL parameter to a tracking pixel

Hey there! If my form confirmation page URL is https://passageiro.99taxis.com/promo?PHONE=11999988888 and a marketing-tracking pixel installed in the confirmation page is script type=‘text/javascript’ src=“https://track.omguk.com/875369/transaction.asp?APPID=”" Where the script parameter APPID needs to be populated with the URL parameter PHONE. Is it possible? If so, how should I do it?

Does switching to https have an adverse effect on SEO ranking?

I am considering switching to the https secure urls for my landing pages and I was wondering if that could/would have an adverse effect on my SEO rankings. We’ve been building our SEO rankings over a number of years and I don;t want to have this become an issue. I intend to try a test campaign using a secure url just to see if we would get a lift in conversions. In the meantime I’d like to ensure that the switch won’t hurt our SEO rank.
