Assigning values to drop downs in forms

I have several form fields that use simple drop downs. My server is looking for responses that are different from than say plain text from the drop downs. I need to be able to have my (for example) values be 0-5 for the 5 possible selections - not the plain text in the selector. Possible?

Set value of results sent to CRM

Is there a way to set the value of results sent to our CRM? For example, if the field to the consumer shows “Purchase” the result would get sent as a 1?

Modify form validation to block a particular value from a dropdown

In a form we created, we needed to be able to block people who completed the form with a particular value for a dropdown from having a successful form submission. This could be useful in cases where you wanted to prevent people from just selecting one of the default options so that they could submit the form. In our case, we had unqualified international leads submitting a form intended for only three countries. Here’s how we did it. Mark Wainwright of Unbounce gave me the head start with code he shared on another thread (about blocking email addresses from unverified providers). Setting up a Landing Page for multi-language browser detection

I have to setup a landing page for multilanguages. Example: people from Brazil must access the page in portuguese when they type my “company.com” domain but people from Canada must access the page in English typing the same “company.com” domain. I don’t mind if they are going to be re-directed to a “company.com/eng” domain. I just need to learn what is the best solution to do it using Unbounce. Thanks!

Any browser plugins that will successfully get full-page screenshots in preview mode?

Has anyone had any success grabbing screenshots of Unbounce pages in preview mode? I’ve tried Fireshot (FF) and Lightshot (Chrome), but neither will grab the entire page. I’d just go to the URL, but then I can only see one variation and I need to get screenshots of all page variants.

Dynamic State & County drop-down menus in unbounce forms

Anyone know of a way to custom code dropdown menus in forms so that once a State is selected , a list of counties for that state would appear?

Looking for a script to update text to today's date

I have a form on my page and at the top of the form, I’d like a piece of text that says “Last Updated:” and then shows today’s date. Anyone know how I could accomplish this? I assume I could also use something similar to update to the current year for a copyright piece of the footer? Thanks in advance!

Segmented telefone input field

Problem: We have plenty of international visitors who don’t add the country and/or state prefix to their phone number. Unfortunately very often it gets very difficult to figure out what the real phone number is. In average 10 to 30% of our collected phone numbers have this issue. They look as real phone numbers (no incorrect entries like 1111111 or 1234457) but don’t work.  Solution: Have the phone input field split into two or even three segments. The first segment would be for the country code. With some geo_ip javascript this field could even be preselected automatically. This already would be a strong indication for the visitor how to add the exact phone number in the second input field.  One additional problem which then would have to be solved is to make this two phone input fields together the same width as all the other input fields. I’m sure you’ll able to figure out a way.

Country Code Drop Down in Unbounce Form

Hi i am looking to add a separate dropdown where user can select country code and then enter 10 digit number. Is there any other simpler way than to create custom dropdown and then manually add codes of all countries.

Can I assign a country phone code based on country selection?

See an example here. When you seect a country, the form autopopulates the country phone code. For example, you select Argentina and it shows “+54” automatically.

Integration with ConvertKit . . . pretty please?

We’ve been extremely happy with ConvertKit, and are moving from AWeber and MailChip exclusively to ConvertKit.  (We think we can also move smaller clients from InfusionSoft and maintain most of the good stuff, but that’s a different topic.) Since we’ve standardized on Unbounce for landing pages, it would be great if our two most important friends could play with each other without Zapier or IFTTT or something. I humbly request that you take at least a quick look at ConvertKit if you aren’t already familiar with it, as there seems to be a groundswell around them these days, many people talking about them and switching to them… Thanks much, Scott

Adding Forms via Custom HTML

Hello! Whenever I add a form from ClickDimensions using the HTML component the vertical spacing between rows seems to get altered. It seems to add too much padding and I can not figure out why or how to fix it without jeopardizing the mobile view of the form as well. Any help would be appreciated.

Number validation (a pure numbers field) - how did this get missed out?

I integrate with Zoho CRM. The field I’m mapping to inside Zoho CRM is a “Number” field. Purely numbers, no periods, commas, or any symbols. But there’s a lack of a numbers field in Unbounce. I launched an expensive adwords campaign only to find out that when my leads started putting in numbers as “12,000” or “11.000”, the leads never went to Zoho and it kept a cute little error in the integration field (could have emailed me to let me know this isn’t working) I don’t see alternatives either. I tried to quickly use the “Phone number” field and removed the validation thinking it won’t validate as phone numbers, but would still validate as numbers. Nope. Please add a numbers field as now I’m having to remove the field altogether and that’s not what I want to do.

Add guidelines to the builder

I think this feature would be a simple and yet very handy for developers. Just like in Photoshop where you can add horizontal and vertical guides to help with aligning things and having things snap to guides. I say it’s simple since I am assuming much of the api from the “sections” feature can be ported over.

How to track custom conversion on bing ads, need HELP

Hi Everyone, I am a new user of Unbounce and I am trying to figure out how can I Track clicks on specific buttons on my landing page and use them as conversion Goal in my bing ads campaigns . I am running PPC Ads on bing but I am not able to track conversions i.e. how many people click on my CTA button. Here is the article by microsoft https://help.ads.microsoft.com/#apex/ads/en/56913/2-500 But I am finding it difficult to apply on unbounce. P.S. : It is a click through page so i can’t track them through a thank you page.

Add language attribute to header

Hi I have a com site, which is actually only for norweigan users. How can I add the lang=“no” attribute to the header of this domains pages? I can’t seem to get it working with either: document.documentElement.setAttribute(“lang”, “no”); or as $(“html”).attr(“lang”, “no”); Can you provide any help or guidelines for setting the language in the global scripts? Typekit fonts in editor view

Is it possible to render custom typekit fonts within the page editor view? The font required by the client is narrower than the default Arial font in the editor so it’s causing a lot of extra “republishing” to fix line breaks due to different character widths in the fonts. I have a fall back font set to PT Sans which also narrow but in the editor it only displays Arial.

How to implement customizable jquery Tooltip function on a link, text (or Image)?

Hi, How can implement a customizable Tooltip function to a “know more” a link, a text block, a div or (less ideally but could work) an image ? I tried to use a title attribute on a “know more” image but the result is very poor. The text shown been quite long, the default 1 long line image title tooltip is not attractive graphically. I have not found a way to insert line break using a br tag for instance. I tried to insert a jquery.tools javascript (http://jquerytools.org/demos/tooltip/…) but had not enough tech knowledge/wizdom to manage to make it work. I am not even sure the solution works in unbounce. I found other option like qtip2.com but once again I have not evough tech capacity to make one work, should they be comptatible with the current version of unbounce. Last as jqery 1.4.2 is installed on my lp, I imagined there was a way to tweak a mouseover funcion. Yet I don’t know how to do it or even adapt the css… Well, as you see, I’m stuck and I turn to the comunity to see if some
