Showing number of page visitors on Landing Page

Dear community,

we are currently trying to implement one feature on our landing page:

We would like to show the number of visitors of the respective landing page on the landing page to create a FOMO-effect (“Hey, 456 people have seen it, time for you to convert”)

Is there a possibility to retrieve a variable for number of visitors on a landing page?

There are a few free “hit counters” out there that you could install if you do a quick google search.

However, I’d highly recommend testing as this is a bit of an old tactic that most people see right through. On the other hand, calling out things like “Over 8,000 happy customers”, “Users have saved nearly 800 hours using our tool”, etc. seem to be a more acceptable these days and far easier to implement.

Hope this helps and best of luck!
