Landing Page Improvement Project

SPAM Leads

We have been getting two or three spam leads a day on a certain landing page. This page uses a Debounce script to confirm that the email address is valid. However, the leads come in usually with an email domain of abc.com. There is no pattern to the IP address, they are always different. The referring source is always one of three different pages. This page runs in Wordpress behind a proxy so I have blocked those referrers but they still come in. I could easily code it to block leads from the abc.com domain. I ran this by Support and they said there is a new feature rolling out to reduce spam leads. Is anyone else seeing this on their pages?

Helpful Hint on Email Validation

I recently located a very easy way to validate emails on the CTA form with one small piece of java script code using a very cost effective (almost free) service. Here is the instruction page on how to implement email validation using Neverbounce: https://neverbounce.com/integrations/unbounce I found that I had to add it at the page level versus at the domain level using the script manager. We got tired of paying for ads to our landing pages and have some mistype their email address on the few forms where we do not require a phone number.

Pass only One Field in URL Parameters to Thank You Page

I am prohibited both by the policy in Google Analytics and by our own GDPR policy to pass the complete set of URL parameters from the main landing page to the formstep2 thank you page. I would like to capture just the first name from the formstep1 main LP. I am already using the progressive profiling script to pre-populate the first set of form fields to the next form step. Question, is there a way to populate a first name onto this second page using DKI but without grabbing it from the URL parameters? I can perhaps come up with a script but then need to have a means to actually pass that first name value to the page itself via DKI.

Sending form data to Appointlet

We would like to prefill certain parameters on our Appointlet booking page from parameters sent when the user completes a form (with the Unbounce prefill form parameters script in place), goes to form step 2, then clicks a button to book an appointment on our Appointlet schedule. We have the Appointlet URL coded as the thank you page URL and append the URL parameters as usual. The issue is that although Unbounce does indeed send the URL parameters along nicely, the format required in Appointlet includes dashes in the field name. Specifically, we have set up these field names, and Appointlet does not allow underscores in them (the crux of the issue), while Unbounce does not allow dashes. Unbounce field name / Appointlet field name: field__first_name first-name field__last_name last-name field__phone_number phone-number We are lucky with the email field which works with no special coding: email email Appointlet has to have the URL suffix in this form to be happy and prefill the

Landing Page Feedback Appreciated

This is a landing page which we use for some more generic keywords to market OCR software. Can I get some feedback please? For this one we are not using a visible CTA as the page was just getting too busy. Here goes: The OCR Experts This is page which gives a high level overview of three different software products. We have landing pages for each of these but do not link them to it, at least yet. We do have another page which performs well in which we do link the other software products to it. Video Background with Parallax Effect

Does anyone know of a way to use a video background and have the sliding parallax effect? I am advertising very technical products and have begun using the video backgrounds. But I wonder if they would convert better if viewers could scroll with the parallax effect as can be done when using the standard image background. My video background section is just below the fold after the benefits and social proofs. Thanks

Phone Number with Extension

I need to add a means for CTA submitters to provide a telephone extension after their US phone number.  I would really rather not add another field. And I appreciate phone field validation. Our CRM seems to accept phone numbers with a trailing x-101 just fine. Has anyone found any way around this?

Joomla Extension Pending?

Is a Joomla extension in the the feature queue like we have for WordPress? We chose Joomla was back in 2008 and back then WordPress wasn’t a serious contender.  If it is not in the plan has anyone build an extension on their own that they would be willing to sell?

Insights on my Landing Page Design

Could I get some insights on how this newby did on our landing page design? This is for a very technical software product. The main product page on our website is overflowing with information. This landing page is a unique subset which concentrates on features and benefits. The logo does link back to our homepage.
