Absolutely. Typically we add a subdomain (we are an agency) for our clients to work on different landingpages when doing campaigns. Identical convertables are then relevant both on some of our landingpages (on the specific subdomain) on the clints www-domain to utilize site-traffic and even on other domains because clients often have several product-sites, but want to promote the same offer accross these. So to summarize the need is for a specific convertable to add one or more domains. And then when adding page-urls for each decide which domain to use. Currently I can see a shadowed domain-name in front of the page url. That just needs to be a dropdown to use one of the added domains. I hope this is clear - otherwise please ask further. Hi, Great stuff with the convertables. One important thing though: You can add all the urls you want, but only a single domain name What if you have a number of subdomains? Why can’t you add something like “*.subdomain.com” so you can cover them all with one convertable? Currently you have to make a copy of the convertable for each subdomain even though these are equal. And when updating your convertable you then need to update/sync each version… I hope you can fix this. Best regards Lars Rathje

Pages down - full panic here! [Solved]

Did you ever find the root course to that problem? Because now it’s all wrong again. All pages are down or slow once more. You simply NEED to identify the course and get it corrected. As an agency we can’t rely our business on this same problem repeating it self… Best regards Lars

GTM Form Submit Event - Unbounce Pages

Hi Mark, I still need to know if there is any way you can track the form submit if it’s a pass through and you DONT have the option of placing a script on the target page. We are an agency heavily using Unbounce and this is a very common scenario with our customers. If you can point to any safe way to detect the form submit, I’m OK with a bit of javascript to pick it up as an event… Best regards Lars

Hi, The convertables are great stuff - works very good. We have around 50 different domains with a client, on which we want to expose a few number of convertables. Can you in any way specify location for more than one domain plus use asterics or other tricks to specify multiple domains? [Feedback Wanted] Mobile Responsive

Thanks a lot Hristian, We have experimented as well with some scripts, that attack I recall 3 elements and adjusts the heights accordingly. It also has to adjusted per page because of different id’s. Yes, it’s doable, but if you normally are used to webpages with html5 the Unbounce-way feels very fixed. However if you have a very simple script please publish it here for the benefit of everyone… Best regards Lars

[Feedback Wanted] Mobile Responsive

Hi, Lots of good suggestions already. I have a really pain, which is more about responsive in general than only mobil responsive. In Unbounce you can’t let the page depend on the size of elements. E.g. when I put in an iframe, that could end up in different heights I have to set aside the max possible height as space on the Unbounce page both on desktop and mobile. To be very conrete: Is it possible to make a section which height is dynamic and depends on the content? Then you would be able to produce an iframe or html element e.g. a list that works both with a few items and a lot of items. The unbounce page (section) would adjust to the need. Hi, I would highly recommend to continue with both options. Many might have this simple request like you say here: turn it off. But if you work with unbouncepages a bit more complex, then you would be combining http and https depending on own and other services available. Especially if you’re an agency working with integrating unbouncepages with customer sites. Another suggestion is to make it individual per page to turn it off. On the other hand you could just add a script that redirects to https like the one suggested above. You can put this script per page or per client as you like… Best regards Lars

Pass values to hidden fields in lightbox form

Thanks for answering quickly. My values are very custom. An example could be a string with “xx,yy,zz” to be placed in a hidden field in the form called e.g. “answers”. Or it could be anything else - it’s a generel question, because today I can place anything with javascript in a hidden field. Of course it’s always convenient also to pass parameters… Best regards Lars PS: A solution could be this, but it’s a lot more complex than it ought to be: UrlEncode my values into additional parameters Change the link to the lightbox to contain these parameters Place a script in the lightbox to unpack the parameters and UrlDecode them Let the script add it to a hidden field in the form on the lightbox page…

Hi, I have a similar problem trying to refer to files of a clients fonts. I get the error: Font from origin ‘http://www.somedomain.dk’ has been blocked from loading by Cross-Origin Resource Sharing policy: No ‘Access-Control-Allow-Origin’ header is present on the requested resource. Origin ‘http://mysubdomain.somedomain.dk’ is therefore not allowed access. I have both tried to get the link to the css files on the www domain and to host the actual otf files on my own server. In both cases I get the Access-Control-Allow-Origin error. How can I overcome this? Is there somewhere I can store the files with Unbounce? Best regards Lars

What is the max number of variants per page?

Thanks a lot both of you. Actually my question was by curiosity because I’m preparing a complex page for test and to do that I’m working on many variants of the page before starting tests. That’s a good point with a max of 100 - but I guess no one would ever get to that point because you would get very few visits per variant. When you work on new variants you may delete some, copy to new ones, edit and delete others, so even though the number of variants may be low the letter keeps adding up. However I found a solution for this: While preparing and editing you can make a lot of variants and you can change the url away from the planned one When ready you just copy your master to a new url and then it becomes variant A with no statistics on for a fresh start. Finally we are in the middle of revising our testing rules. But some of the ingredients are these: Use Chi-square method At least 1 week, but rather at least 3 weeks Numbers exceeding 1000 visits Significans level above 95% If you’

New Feature: Integrate Google Analytics + Event Tracking with Script Manager

Hi Joe, Sure. It’s a customization of a script by Lunametrics (which you can google many places). This script uses the youtube api which gives back info about youtube playstates. Based on identifying and numbering all videos on a page the script starts listening for the Youtube events. Then it transforms these events to Google Analytics events meaning you can see start, stop, buffering, pause etc per video id in Google Analytics. A few important notes: You need to add these parameters to your youtube links for it to send events back to your listening script : &enablejsapi=1 For some reason you can’t get the titles of the videos firing events, but you can get the youtube link and then extract the youtube id’s. We add these id’s to our Google events. I hope this helps. Let me know if you need deeper info, as it will require some more digging into it for your specific setup. Best regards Lars

Hi, Is it possible to get a look into the code and the thoughts and comments behind this? Because we are an agency and have a couple of special needs, which we have so far solved with our own complex scripts: We track to multiple Analytics accounts in parallel We add inpage analysis and allow trackers accross several domains to our scripts We add different numbers to our conversions, so we can track and differentiate between different conversion goals in our google events reporting We add special tracking to videos, so we can see which videos on the page have been used and how I know of course all this can’t be added to the standard script, but we may benefit from using the new standard script as a base for our next version of our custom script. Hi Justin, I have just noticed it today roled out on all our domains automatically. This is a disaster for us right now. We have many pages where iframes, tracking scripts, images, remote files etc are called on http-locations. Now those scripts fail to work. Is there any way to disable or tick on/off https from our domains? Please - this is really important!! Best regards Lars

Better Event tracking with Google Analytics

Hi, I’m just following up here to close the issue for now as I have had a parallel dialogue directly with the team. I can’t use the manual code as we have clients and nearly 100 pages to handle. So I need one single script. But I managed to code something myself in javascript, which only tracks ticked conversion goals and differentiates between forms, buttons, imagelinks and textlinks. And during some test days we have made it work. So I’m good for now, but Unbounce should really get something similar as I believe it’s a needed, but complex request. Latest news is that Unbounce will try to take a look at my scripts so I will send them the script directly. Maybe this will end up with a script for more people to use. As I said, this is just info to not having this issue stand unanswered. Best regards Lars
