How-To: Set up Goals in Google Analytics

Great thought, SG!  My form button sends the user to another page on my domain.  Your solution is another way I could have tackled this.  If I was using your method, I would make sure to set my GA Goal as a [begins with] condition.  The reason for this is that I use a multi-step form, and appended to my referral URL are the answers to my first two form fields.

Is it possible that an unbounce website can rank on top in Google?

Hey Anjana! The short answer is yes, it is possible.  My site Commandiv - Learn to Invest is very new, and yet I’ve already seen it move to the top of Bing’s results for the keyterm “commandiv”.  I’m not even on the board yet on Google, but I will be actively trying to drive more traffic soon.   What you are asking falls under the category of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).  I am relatively new to the concept too, and used the following SEO Ebook from Hubspot to understand the basic concepts.  I think it is a worthwhile ~35 page primer to understand the basics of how Google/Bing search algos work.   Best, John

Forms: splitting full_name field -> first_name and last_name with MailChimp integration

Great - thanks for asking around, Justin! I was playing around on MC’s platform, but it’s not as open/hackable as Unbounce’s (with custom JS, HTML, etc.).  In the meantime, I might just switch to a first_name only field and wait to collect Last Name until User Registration (upon product launch, of course).   If anyone else comes across an answer, I’d love to know!

Animated CSS arrow bounce

Rob, I had the same problem as you.  I figured out a pretty painless solution.
