Setting cookie upon successful form submission

Is there a way to set a cookie upon successful form submission of a popup? If so, how? Please note, I would like for the cookie to be set on a successful form submission, not just any click on the submission button for a form. Also, for my particular use case, I am not redirecting visitors to a confirmation page, so setting the cookie on a new page won’t work.

Change/Append to UTM

Hi. I’m trying to change the UTM values according to the variant of the page the user is in. For example, if I send the user with utm_campaign=123 I would like that after the user submits the form, the utm_campaign became: For variant A: utm_campaign=123_a For variant B: utm_campaign=123_b I’ve tried Googling the answer, but all I find is how to replace or add a UTM, never to append to an existing one. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks a lot

Sticky banner on specific URLs - not working

We’re using a sticky banner to target a specific page on our website. This all works great and the banner only shows on that specific page when a user scroll 5% down, the rules that we’ve set. The big problem is if a user didn’t close the sticky banner and navigates to a new page, the banner stays visible, even though the URL has changed. This is a problem as our sticky banner is being used for an ebook related to that specific page only. I tried setting a “don’t show” rule for anything containing the root URL, but that doesn’t work. Just seems that the set rules don’t apply once the banner is shown. Any other suggestions here?

How are Unbounce pages typically integrated into websites?

Ok, almost ready to pull the trigger, however… I’ve been reading and reading on this site for several hours and it’s not very clear. How are pages created in Unbounce typically integrated into a website? I need to create an entire website from scratch and have been investigating platforms like Wix, Squarespace, Wordpress and others until I’m blue in the face. Taking a course on Udemy.com about Landing Pages and how to effectively create conversions. Unbounce came highly recommended in that course. From what I learned, I really see the value in Unbounce, but was a little dismayed that it’s designed to create a single page, not a site with navigation. So, no matter how I create the page, how are marketers typically integrating the landing pages they create into their websites? The website I am creating is for a small business to promote their service of matching elderly people who are retired and want to work part-time with companies willing to hire them. Firing a Custom Event with GTM when a dropdown selection is made in Unbounce

Adding custom fonts to my page

Hey there, I am trying to add custom fonts to my page but I am getting some errors. Using the @font-face rule I have tried 2 solutions but neither have worked so far. A. using this CSS @font-face { font-family: ‘nameOfFont’; src: url(url-of-where-your-fonts-are-on-your-server.ttf); } @font-face { font-family: ‘nameOfFont IE’; src: url(url-of-where-your-fonts-are-on-your-server.eot); } .nameOfClass { font-family: ‘nameOfFont’, ‘nameOfFont IE’, sans-serif; } B. Using this same CSS but adding it to an external CSS file and using the @import rule to import the CSS. You can check the errors using ‘inspect element’ and see them in the console. As always, any help is greatly appreciated! Cheers

Dashboard statistics

Is there an easy way to check out how many total visitors and views I’ve had on my account in a month (or a day, or a week, for that matter). Since pricing is visitor based, it would be nice to be able to see how many visitors I have so far.

Help tracking conversions on HTML-embedded javascript form

We’re using a third-party donations processing form (Fundraise Up) embedded on an Unbounce landing page. I want to track gift completion in the donations form as the page goal, but I haven’t a clue where to start. We’re a small nonprofit without a tech team—help! Hi All, I am struggling getting Mouseflow to accurately record form submits on my Unbounce LPs. Part of the problem is I do not know how the form submit action is handled in Unbounce. Can someone help me understand how the submit action takes place in unbounce?

Trying to pass a hidden field to Constant Contacts

1: What challenge are you currently trying to solve? Give as much detail as possible Hi, I’m trying to pass a hidden field in a POPUP form called “CODE” to Constant Contacts. The field has been added in CC and there is a javascript that creates the code in UnBounce. What happens i the email address is passed but not the “CODE”. Hotjar AB Test Implementation - Order of Script Execution

Dear unbounce community! I am fairly new to unbounce and this is my first post, so please bear with me 🙂 I have enabled our AB Testing for myurl and generated Variant A and Variant B. I learnt that these two URLs are differentiated by the URL extension as myurl/a.html andmyurl/b.html. These URLs, however, are not sent to Hotjar for the Heatmap setup. Hence, I need to work with the Javascript trigger. I also implemented it working fine for my Landing Page. However, I had to place my general Hotjar Tracking code and my snippet code in the Variant Script Manager. If I want to apply this setup to all my Landing Pages (approx 15 with 2 Variants each) I would generate a lot of manual work. I read that the execution order of scripts in unbounce is Variant Scripts > Global Scripts. Since the general Hotjar tracking code must be executed prior to the variant specific snippet, I was wondering whether there is any convenient option to make a global script execute prior to all the varia

Access form data in Form Confirmation Dialog?

Is there a simple way to access the data from a form in the Form Confirmation Dialog? From what I can tell, I can’t append the form data as URL parameters for the iframe src when using the Form Confirmation Dialog. I also don’t see any form data in the global window.ub object after submitting. Use case: I’d like to send some custom events via JS from within the Form Confirmation Dialog, and need email address, etc, to make it possible. Apologies if this is redundant - I searched and found related topics, but nothing specifically about this. Edited to add: I found an unanswered post from 2011 asking this same question, so confidence in this being possible is low: How to access form field data from a thank you page script?

Collecting meta data from page

I am embedding a convertible popup on our site. I am wondering if there is a mechanism I can use to collect additional information as part of the lead. For example if the user clicks ‘Yes’ in the popup can I collect information from the parent page such as window.data.valuea, window.data.valueb I can think of a couple convoluted ways of doing this but am curious if there are any best practices or patterns that exist already. A method to insert dynamic phone numbers into a button?

Hello people, I’ve currently inserted a dynamic phone number via, Google forwarding numbers, on an unbounce page, which is working correctly for phone numbers inside the body tags. However, when I click on the “Call us now” button, which also contains the phone number to be replaced, my phone shows me the default number, and not the dynamic phone number. This means that we are unable to attribute the phone calls from that button back to our campaigns. Is there a javascript code somewhere that can change the link number to the dynamic trackable one? Hi, I have a Landing page that works well with the validation : $(’.lp-pom-form form’).valid() Now i have create a new one with the same fields and same script but while testing it shows me error : ‘lp is not defined’ the have the script jQuery (1.4.2) in the header of the 2 pages. Help !! Thank you

HubSpot website tracking after Unbounce form captures

Hi everyone, Hoping someone reading can shine some light here. After a form is submitted on one of our Unbounce Landing Page’s, we use Zapier to create or update a contact in HubSpot. I’m wondering if once this data is in HubSpot, if HubSpot is still able to track the users website history even though they submitted the form in Unbounce. It seems so far Unbounce form submissions do not have website history in HubSpot after the Zapier sends the contact to Hubspot from Unbounce. Maybe this is a fault in cookie tracking with HubSpot, or I’m wondering is it to be expected that if the contact goes through Unbounce we lose this data? Thank you

Responsive header width (logo LHS, menu RHS)

I am trying to match an unbounce page to a website so that it fits in seamlessly. However, the website I am copying has a logo top right and menu top left which are always justified to the side of the page whatever size screen. Is there a way to have a responsive header like this in unbounce?

Auto assign a tag on landingpage email opt-in with mailchimp integration

hee guys, I have a few landingpages where people can opt-in for a newsletter; Depending on the landingpage I want to automatically assign a different tag depending on where they opt-in Example https://www.majorace.golf/ needs the tag: Whitelist https://www.majorace.golf/ambassadors/ needs the tag: Ambassador I tried adding a new field naming it TAG but I tested and it doesnt assign the tag in mailchimp… Anybody have an idea what to do?
