If I am offering a paper to download, which provides a better user experience, and which provides better results, the form confirmation dialog with a link on it or directing right to the paper in a URL?

Hey Melissa - sorry for the delayed reply! Based on our own campaigns, Unbounce has found attaching an e-book/pdf to a button on the form confirmation dialogue has resulted in higher conversions. Asking a prospective customer for their name, phone number, etc in exchange for your product offering creates transactional value. The perceived value is much higher in comparison to offering it as a click-through URL.


That being said, I’m sure other community members have had different experiences running their own campaigns. Does anyone else in the community want to share their conversion results? We’re eager to hear!
