If you’re looking for a host for your wordpress I would strongly recommend Wordpress Hosting by WP Engine. Their plans start at $29 per month for up to 10k visitors. You’ll never have to worry about your Wordpress install or backups ever again 🙂

I have used HostGator and had good success. I have also used 1and1 which was more expensive but had a few more bells and whistles. 

If you know what you want (dedicated IP, SSL ete.) then you should be able to find a hosting solution that works for you. I would say stay AWAY from godaddy or network solutions. Their servers are so slow…
