Is using a CNAME the only way to customize our URL?

A competitor provides javascript that we can just upload to our server. I’m no expert, but I think it’s some kind of page redirect. Anyway, it allows us to organize all our landing pages on our server.

Hey James - yeah, we do require a CNAME as it’s the most reliable way to ensure your pages are served up. Javascript relies on the script being support by the browser, scripts being enabled etc. whereas a CNAME changes things at the server level, which ensures your domain will work regardless of your visitor’s set up.
