When duplicating a page, it appear to not copy the page meta data, including title, keywords, and description.

Hey Mark,
This is actually expected behaviour because many customers were inadvertently copying meta data and not changing it before they published - This led to their pages being indexed in google with improper titles and descriptions relating to other promotions. We decided to not make copying the default behaviour until we could implement a better process for letting users know how to set the meta-data.

That being said, I agree that this is not the best solution and we’ll revert back to copying by default. We have some UI plans in the works to help point out when your meta tags might be outdated.

I will update this thread when the solution has been rolled out. Thanks for nudge!

Cheers,
Carter

Just an update that in the meantime we have re-enabled copying over meta data when you duplicate an existing variant.
