Has anybody integrated iCarousel or a similar horizontal image slider into unbounce pages? What’s the best route for this? I’m not a .js or css coder, so need some help.
Hi Jason - thanks for getting in touch.
An option of third-party slide show functionality would be Slideshare (http://www.slideshare.net/) which you would be able to include into the scripts of your landing page. First you will need to retrieve the script for their feature and then include it to your Unbounce landing page. Below I have also included a couple of links to the our Unbounce Answer articles regarding how to include custom scripts to your Unbounce page for customized functionalities:
http://support.unbounce.com/entries/5…
http://support.unbounce.com/entries/3…
This method should enable you to implement this feature to your page without having to directly code it yourself.
I hope this is helpful. If you have any further questions or require assistance with this setup process, please feel free to contact us at support@unbounce.com.
Cheers!

I wish i could say for sure - unfortunately i’m not a techy either. Unbounce support may be able to answer this question - ?
You can do text in a DIV instead of an image. FWIW, I’ve done a lot of customization – and Unbounce has been very helpful on many occasions – but the patentise.com site is custom code that someone paid good money to implement.
Hey Kbb - Slidedeck have a super customizable slider that should let you create a text slider. You can check 'em out at http://www.slidedeck.com/
Hello,
I followed Jens advice and now have a working slider - however, now my fancybox (which was previously working on the page) doesn’t work. Anyone have any ideas how to fix/troubleshoot this
Hi.
I’m trying to set up the slider from Jen.
But how do I find the img source from an image uploaded to Unbounce image libary?
/Torben
Hi Torben -
To get the img source:
- upload and place the image somewehre on your Unbounce page
- publish the page
- on the published page, right click the image and select “get image URL”
- go back and delete the image from your page
- the image will now show up in your slider using that URL
🙂 jen

Hi Jen,
hmmm, sounds like the SharePoint-way (me-do-not-like) :o)
So far it only show one of the pictures, but no slide between the pictures.
I think I still have a mil or two to run.
Thanks for You quick answer.

You could also upload the images to your own server 🙂
yea it’s not ideal :S you could also upload to your own server -
Hi Joel.
I did just that … :o)
Just wanted to add another option here that I found and am pretty happy with. http://www.cincopa.com/
They have a premium and free version. Where not a sexy as Jen’s slider or SlideDeck, it worked out really well for someone like me with pretty limited coding experience (and time).
Just gave this a try on a test page and you’re right, very easy! Thanks for sharing this one Matthew.
Just ran into this thread.
We typically have quite a few campaigns in market, this is a great tip for getting campaigns launched quickly.
Thanks Matthew!
I have embeded the code cincopa provides into an HTML box on my landing page, but nothing appears when I publish…am I missing a step??
I am having trouble getting something similar on a page of mine. Any chance someone could offer some technical insight. I was attempting to use the iCarousel code to get it to work. I attempted a Slideshare view, but it seemed odd and was not enamored by the user experience offered there.
Thanks!
Hi All,
I have been able to find a website where the code is given to add an image slider in the page with next and previous buttons. All the code is available on the site and steps given to add the slider on the page.
URL: https://unbouncehacks.com/image-slider-in-unbounce/
You will find it useful.
Thanks!!
Hi Jen,
Can you re share the link. I think this one has expired
