Has anyone been able to add a chatbot like Drift?

Hi Jennifer,

Do you mean install Drift onto an Unbounce page? If so, yes, that’s very easy to do so, and you can do it by adding the Drift script to your Javascripts section or domain-wide using the script manager in Unbounce. Are you having issues with it or are you referring to something else?

Hi Nicholas@ Yes, that’s exactly what I’m trying to do. Would I need the chat widget iFrame as well, or just the javascript?

I believe I found the Javascript, but I don’t see the chat icon on the Unbounce page

Does anyone know how to prevent DRIFT from firing on LIGHTBOX pages though?

Hi @yoav,

In order to fire, they need their script placed in the lightbox.

Simply don’t place their script in a lightbox yo don’t want to have the chat widget on.

actually, what i have set up is Drift to fire on all my pages, including unbounce ones (and on many Unbounce pages, I want it to fire but not on lightbox pop-ups).

They found that Unbounce lightboxes have a lightbox.html within the URL so I have prevented my driftbots from firing on URLs with ‘lightbox’
