Calling All Designers and Marketers

Hello Unbounce Community! Calling all designers and marketers… I’m doing some research for an upcoming book (and my talk from this year’s CTA Conf). The topic is Data-Driven Design. New Lead Generation Template Added

We’ve added our first Lead Generation template to Unbounce. You’ll see it in the template chooser when you create a new page. The form can be configured to suit your information gathering needs by double-clicking on it. And you’ll be all set to start collecting leads.

New 5-color button set for Unbounce templates

Hi everyone, In response to requests for a wider array of buttons for the templates, I’ve created the following. (Note: we’re going to put a permanent solution into the app as soon as we can.) For now, there are 5 new colors of the current button sizes (plus a bigger fatter one too). Orange (default) Red Blue Green Black Photoshop PSDs of all images are included. Individually chopped up images of all buttons are included ready for you to upload into Unbounce. To upload an image, add an image using the “Image” button in the toolbar and click the upload button. http://unbounce.com/docs/unbounce-but… Any designers out there - please feel free to bend and break the PSDs to create some better buttons to submit of you’d like to - I’m sure the community would love it.

MailChimp Integration Gets Some Extra 'Roids (I mean Bananas)

A short while ago we injected (see how I’m keeping the theme going here) some extra potassium (from Bananas) into our MailChimp integration. There are 4 main things to note, that you can now do: 1. Full Field Mapping! Perhaps biggest change is Field Mapping. You can now map all of the form fields on your lead gen pages into your MailChimp lists (before it was name and email only). So map away people, map away! Detailed info on how field mapping works. 2. Groups!!! The images below illustrate this flow when integrating with a list that has groups configured on the MailChimp side. Below, notice how the username is now shown along with the MailChimp API Key. The next step is unchanged from the original integration And finally, this next one is only encountered if we are integrating with a list that has groups configured. If the list doesn’t have groups, then the integration proceeds as before, skipping this screen. Notice how this the list groups from MailChimp shown below in the image

[NEW] Template Added to Unbounce! - Check it out

This is a super clean template with a flexible color palette. The background has a nice transparent texture - so you can change the background color to be anything you want and the texture will remain. Includes a video placeholder - which you can easily swap out for an image (screenshot or product shot). The design is based on AIDA marketing principles: Attention, Interest, Design, Action (from top to bottom) - hence the position of the CTA. I’ll be creating new variations with: A lead gen form CTA up top beside the video Let us know in the comments if you have other ideas for variations too.

New Sales Letter Template Added

There is now a long-form sales letter style landing page template in Unbounce. You can use it for the text heavy infomercial style of landing page that has become popular recently. They don’t always look the best, but they are known to convert well.
