Add language attribute to header

Hi I have a com site, which is actually only for norweigan users. How can I add the lang=“no” attribute to the header of this domains pages? I can’t seem to get it working with either: document.documentElement.setAttribute(“lang”, “no”); or as $(“html”).attr(“lang”, “no”); Can you provide any help or guidelines for setting the language in the global scripts? What is Unbounce doing to be compliant with new EU GDPR laws?

Hi. I want to direct you, Unbounce people, to this link: https://www.eugdpr.org/ In may 2018 EU is rasing the bar hugely on requirements to handle sensitive data and collect permissions etc for what ever you do with leads. I can point my finger at a number of concerns, that makes Unbounce non-compliant for us to use. Examples: Data in leadforms are collected and stored in a way that we can’t control. We can’t avoid the data to be stored even if we pass the on through integrations like webhook. And we can’t handle or delete inviduals data if they - as they are entitled to - ask for their data to be shown to them or deleted. In Google Analytics we see the same data from forms showing in links. They are query-parameters and not hidden as post-parameters Data are stored in US and we can’t ask for data to be stored in e.g. Ireland. I don’t know if this still is needed, but at least we are required to process-map what happens with all data and to get them indidually deleted or changed. I gu

Confetti Background was working fine but suddenly doesn't work anymore

Hi Unbounce friends, I used this guide: [How-to] Add an Animated Confetti Background on Form Submit 🎉 🎊 … to get a confetti background on form submit on this site here: https://tilmeld.sikkertrafik.dk/aarets-skolepatrulje/ It was working fine a couple of days ago, but suddenly it doesn’t work anymore. I tried to build a completly new page, but it doesn’t work here either. On the Unbounce test site it still works fine: https://landingpage.noahmatsell.ca/confetti-confirmation/ Do anyone know, what I should do to get the fancy confetti background back on track? Frequency choise depending on user active closes?

Hi, We find convertables very good to use, but I have a question/ask. Problem: When a sticky menu is on all pages on every visit (newsletter signup etc), then it feels counter-intuitive if it pops up again after the user ACTIVELY closed the sticky menu. Solution: An extra choise like "show on every visit unless user has closed sticky menu I don’t think this concerns the overlays - only the sticky menu. Best regards Lars

Which posting options can we expect?

Hi, I’m happy to see you’re giving the API an effort now. Looking through the documentation there is stille very few posting options. Do you have a roadmap for new options on their way? Specifically I’m interested in being able to post to change publish status for a page. This would enable us to create timed page publishing for our clients (we’re an agency). Best regards Lars

Pages down - full panic here! [Solved]

Hi - we have more than 700 pages that are either unavailable (error 503) or VERY slow right now. What to do - this is CRITICAL, please… For notation: All our pages are in Europe and this forum, page editors etc works. Is the published pages that are in trouble… Please can someone from Unbounce reply on this. We don’t even get answers to support tickets. Lars

Can I retrieve page notes via api?

I can’t seem to find a tag for pagenotes on the api? I need to be able to have some overview of notes made on each of many pages. And I plan to mail these notes to clients as a kind of status. Is it or will it be possible? Best regards Lars fabrik@boostcompany.dk

Bug when image background should be white or transparent

Hi If I add a png image with either white or transparent background on a section which is white the image is published with a slightly grey background barely noticable - but it was noticed by one of our customers. Example here: http://event.altfordamerne.dk/stot-br… If you look at the 5 bubles upper right or at the bag mid page at right, both pictures have a slightly grey background. Please try it yourself to see if you can recreate the bug. Is it a bug? I think I have done everything right. Best regards Lars

Pages NOT in group

I use the grouping of pages a lot, because we are dealing with many pages per client. But it’s hard to find pages that I “forgot” to put into a group. Will it be possible to add a page list of pages NOT in group? Then I can use this to fint the missing pages and put them into the proper group. Best regards Lars

Pass values to hidden fields in lightbox form

Variants exits even if deleted

Hi, If you work with variants being numbered A, B, C etc. and later delete some of them completely, then they still exist on the web. If you add the e.g. “c.html” to the url you will get the c-variant even if deleted. This is not so good as they could end up being indexed or used by mistake by either us or one of our customers. Solution for forms validation in other languages

Hi there, I needed a solution for having forms validation messages in danish rather than the “… is required” term. This simple solution might come in handy for others, so I just want to share. Put this script on page in header section. You can easily change it into your own language. Best regards Lars Rathje

Can't do GA tracking across domains when using a form

Hi, I’m trying to track a clients traffic from e.g. sub.a.com/page1/?id=x to www.b.com/page2?id=x. So I have added the allowlinker codes on both sides, which should normally add the _ga=y to my destination as www.b.com/page2?id=x&_ga=y. But it’s not working through forms. Have you come across this before and can you please help me in any direction? I have also tried to follow this recommendation, but with no luck. What is the max number of variants per page?

Hi, I’m working on some complex pages to be A/B testet. Because of the complexity I’m rapidly adding work-in-progress variants to the page. So I just wandered about these questions: What happens when the variant letter gets to Z … will it be ZA, ZB … or? Is there a way - apart from switching to a new page - to reset the variant letters to A, B etc when I get ready to launch the test? Best regards Lars

Better Event tracking with Google Analytics

Hi, I have succesfully used the description here to track events: http://support.unbounce.com/entries/2… The thing is that it only tracks forms and buttons and usually in landingpage optimization you combine buttons and links for better conversion. I have two asks/suggestions for better event tracking: Is it possible to add event tracking of click on external links in the script? Much better and more logical solution: Can you make an alternative script that only sets event tracking on whatever conversion goal you have activated (forms, buttons or links) so that event tracking in google is consistent with what you consider as a conversion goal? I hope one of these is possible and of course mostly the second. Thanks for really good service anyhow!! Best regards Lars

Please don't forget about productivity

Hi, There is a lot of talk about features and we also ourselves have wishes on the list. But, being an agency with a lot of active pages and changes going on, we also suffer from lack of productivity in the user interface of Unbounce. If you could at least focus on response time in these crucial pages and pageshifts it would be a lot easier to be an Unbounce customer: Loadtime of pagelist, pageoverview and page edit Time to republish a page Quicklinks from page edit to pagelist or even better a pagegroup Follow external link directly from pagelist These scenarios and probably a few more are the key ones used everyday. They are huge time consumers, so if you could please take a look at the productivity on theese rather than new features it would be excellent. Best regards Lars

Bug on edges of buttons width different color in mobile view

Hi I have noticed that the edge of the buttons has something that looks as a border when you choose a different button color in mobile view. To be precise: When you set button color 1 in desktop view and then set button color 2 in mobile view, you will see a narrow edge of color 1 around the button in color 2. This is regardless of you set a border around it all or not. I hope you can find the issue. To me it seems like a 1-pixel error where you layer color 2 on top of color 1. Best regards Lars

Form submit incompability with IE9

Hi When using a form with dropdowns you need to press submit button twice in IE9. We have pages where this traffic is up to 10%, so it does impact our users. I believe the reason is IE9 at first button press releases the last dropdown touched and then works in the second button press. Can you please look into this and if there is any way to solve it? API not collecting pages last 13 days

Hi, Since around nov 27th the api is not picking up pages when you enter e.g. https://api.unbounce.com/pages. All pages created up until this date is collected well. Could it have anything to do with some changes around that date - e.g. going live with responsive? This impacts our ability to monitor and report on our pages.
