Google Maps: Insert URL Parameters into embed code html

Thanks for this Rob. I can see how that almost gets me there but I don’t have developer knowledge or facility. Could a script grab the +postalcodeVariable on page load? Would any other members of the community be able to help with this javascript please? I would imagine it would be a useful feature for Tips and Tricks Scripts. Many thanks, Carl

Hi @Rob This is a super feature. But I’ not seeing it work for me. The page is http://carehomes.fshc.co.uk/care-homes-england/ and I’m looking to use geo-targeting to improve the relevancy of the page to visitors from AdWords. Additionally, I’ve inserted the map element which I’d like to use. The script says .cityText whilst the span codes use cityText. Could that be the issue. Could you be so kind as to view the page, the script and make a recommendation please? Thank you

Thanks @Stefano We are currently doing that, so the numbers are tracked and we have the code (above). But we have over 600 Unbounce pages. What we are moving to is a SINGLE dynamic page where utm parameters will change the information. The final hurdle is ADAPTING the above code to be able to track the dynamically changed phone number. For instance, do we do $(function(){ _googWcmGet(‘number1’, ‘01543 541 268’; THEN 250 NUMBERS HERE); }); We are tracking using Google dynamic numbers, we are using the code. What we require help with is handling multiple phone numbers in a single page. Does that help?

Thank you Looking to follow exactly the same concept as [How-to] Dynamically Swap an Embedded Video with URL Parameters but, Google maps rather than YouTube video to dynamically change src=“https://www.google.com/maps/embed/v1/place?q=34%20Watson%20Cres%2C%20Edinburgh%20EH11%201HF&key=AIzaSyD_dxO2wrBGplw53sE6CvggZ_YLg-NCPew” The concept appears similar so I’m hoping someone technical can take it and amend. Would be a great addition for Unbounce as we have 250 locations I’m wanting to create one dynamic landing page for. Thank you
