Custom domain without www

Well, I don’t know so much about domains, DNS and stuff like this, but I use Heroku (www.heroku.com) and they have a good solution for this: http://devcenter.heroku.com/articles/… Basically, we need to configure the root domain (sample.com) with a A Record pointing to one of theirs IP and configure the subdomain (www.sample.com) with a CNAME record pointing to theirs proxy.
