Thanks Rebecca.  I see what you mean. I may have to start doing that. Note: when I clicked your link above, it redirected me to a non-secure page: http://try.optimus-education.com/unlimited-cpd-offer/ PS- nice looking landing page!  One thought - almost any text on the form button will drive more conversions than the word “submit”. 🙂   (more on this topic: http://unbounce.com/conversion-rate-optimization/how-to-optimize-contact-forms/ ) Thanks again for the great suggestion. 🙂

Thanks for the quick reply! It would be nice to have a setting added to Unbounce to automatically redirect visitors to the https version. For example, try visiting http://www.google.com and you will automatically be redirected to the https version. This matters for Unbounce because your customers, me included, often publish landing page URLs in offline media (print publications, outdoor advertisements, radio, etc.)  In those offline marketing channels, there’s no way to ensure that landing page visitors all visit the secure Unbounce page. For example, if I run a radio ad that tells listeners to visit MyUnbounceDomain.com - I can’t really tell them to type in “https://” on the radio, and the audience wouldn’t do it anyway.  Instead they’ll just type in the web address, and thus get the non-secured page.

I love this addition.  Since we have a number of Unbounce pages, and a wide variety of outside links linking to them, how can we setup Unbounce to automatically serve the HTTPs version of the pages… without having to update all those outside links? Thank you!

Integrating Crazy Egg and Unbounce with multiple variants

You can get the Crazy Egg snapshots setup using Unbounce’s hidden identifier in the URL as the URL for the Crazy Egg snapshot. For example:   www.mypage.com/[Variant ID].html - where the Variant ID is “A” or “B” or whatever your Unbounce page variant is. Then specify in Crazy Egg whether to run a desktop, mobile, or tablet snapshot.

Thank you! I was able to get it implemented using Adobe DTM. Here’s how: In Adobe DTM, define data elements for JavaScript variables that identify Unbounce pages and variants: Unbounce Page Name: window.ub.page.name Unbounce Variant ID: window.ub.page.variantId Then setup Adobe DTM page load rules to fire CrazyEgg tracking scripts based on: The above JavaScript variables Window Size or Device Type

Integrating Crazy Egg and Unbounce with multiple variants

I’m trying to do the same thing as Daniel, but also implement separate Crazy Egg tracking for Desktop vs. Mobile views of Unbounce pages. I have the following Unbounce pages, and separate Crazy Egg snapshots setup for each:  mysite.com/a.html (desktop)  mysite.com/a.html (mobile)  mysite.com/b.html (desktop)  mysite.com/b.html (mobile) I’m struggling to get the Crazy Egg named Javascript to run on each unique Unbounce page variation. I setup rules through Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM) to run the Crazy Egg named page tracking script on each variant, conditionally based on the URL viewed and the visitor’s Operating System. However, the JavaScript is not firing on these pages. I’m not sure, but I think this isn’t working because viewers don’t actually load “mysite.com/a.html” - but actually load “mysite.com”. Is there any other way to identify which Unbounce page variant the visitor is viewing? Other than the direct variant (hidden) URL? Or any recommendations on how to fire different

Thanks for the reply. Does that apply to conversions that take place off of the page as well? I have the Unbounce conversion tracking JavaScript on an external site. Does that update in real time as well? Thanks! 🙂
