Quick Tip about CNAME's that start or contain the words "ad","ads"

Hi Mark, thanks for passing this along, and sorry this was an issue for you. I’ll log this as a feature suggestion. I’m curious, I wonder how many folks who run ad blockers actually click on PPC ads? And don’t get me wrong, I’m certainly not discounting the value of this idea at all. I wasn’t able to find much in the way of studies or background information on that. Can you pass along any numbers from your own experience?

Promoting webinars through landing pages. Tips needed

Well, I’m no marketer, but I’ll offer my own humble opinion, and I’ll poke some of our more marketing and conversion-oriented folk to chime in as well. Here’s my humble opinion… setup a custom domain that reinforces your campaign message (join.2degreesnetwork.com, takeaction.2degreesnetwork.com, community.2degreesnetwork.com, climate-action.2degreesnetwork.com, are just some ideas off the top of my head) button action messages are somewhat mismatched, you have “join” on your webinar page, and “register” on your join page. Consistency in your CTA is important. on the webinar page, you should have a “register” button next to each webinar as your CTA, as it stands, it’s not clear that “joining” will let me participate in the webinars. Those are just some general issues. Can I create a custom template?

So, I hope I’m understanding you correctly. Let me just clarify our terminology really quickly… An Unbounce page lives at a particular URL. To test that page, you create multiple variants (a, b, c…), that will be randomly selected for visitors to that URL. Your dashboard displays your entire list of pages. When you click on a page on your dashboard, you get your page overview, which shows all the variants for that page. Totally clear, right? Ok, from the dashboard (your list of pages), you can choose to duplicate your page. When you do this, you can select which variants of that page you would also like to duplicate. Now, further, on your page overview, you can select “Move to another Page” from the variant’s gear menu, which will allow you to copy that variant to another page. So, it sounds like you *can* accomplish what you’re after, no? You can duplicate entire pages with all their variants, plus you can move/copy variants to other pages…

What shall we do with unbounce?

Hi! Wow, that’s pretty big question. First, I should ask, are you currently engaged in any online marketing activities? Hearing a bit about what you’re doing would help answer your question in terms that’ll make sense for you, so let us know! In general, Unbounce provides a nice browser-based web page editor, will host your pages, and allows you to do easy split-testing. We also have built-in form capture for lead generation. Unbounce users have launched new products, optimized their existing PPC campaigns, the list goes on and on. Does that give you a rough idea?

Custom domain without www

Hey Mario, you should change things so that www.queromaisclientes.pt is CNAME’d to unbouncepages.com, *then* configure queromaisclientes.pt to redirect to www.queromaisclientes.pt. We have a support article explaining all this here: http://support.unbounce.com/entries/3…

Recognize an embedded Wufoo form as a conversion?

Just a quick update, we’re chatting with the good folks over at Wufoo, and are making some progress. We have a little back-and-forth development between us, so can’t really comment on a timeline, other than “it’s actively being worked on”!
