Hey folks!

Important news from Unbounce HQ! :spinbounce:

We’re bumping our standards up a notch to offer additional security measures for all Unbounce customers!

As such, you’ll see some important in-app feature enhancements that will add an extra layer of security to your Unbounce account to ensure your information and sensitive data is safe.

What you need to know:

To launch these features, you’ll need to log you out of your Unbounce account on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017. The Unbounce App will be unavailable from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00p.m. PDT on that day. If you are logged in to an active session, you will be automatically logged out of your Unbounce account. This won’t in any way impact live pages and/or Convertables.

In order to keep your unsaved work in the Unbounce Builder, please do not close the window; Unbounce’s built-in modal will pop-up once the downtime is complete and you will be able to log back into your session. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, but your security is our top priority.

So what are the new security updates?

Web Session Timeout

Web sessions in Unbounce will now be limited to one hour at a time. This means that if you are inactive for an hour or longer, you will be automatically logged out of your account.

Note: This does not include the Builder; you will stay logged into the Unbounce Builder for as long as you’re working in it.

Password Enhancements

We’re introducing a new password strength meter along with some useful tips on how to make your password stronger. This will not impact your current Unbounce account settings–you may keep your existing password if you wish to. However, please be aware that if you do decide to create a new password, it will need to meet minimum complexity requirements in order for you to log into your Unbounce account.

… Coming soon!

In the months to come, we will offer a comprehensive suite of industry-leading security features to deliver top-tier protection to your Unbounce account. These include;

  • Audit Logs

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA/2FA)

  • Google Single Sign-On (SSO)

We will provide more information soon about these exciting new features as they come. In the meantime, if you have any questions, hit reply on this thread and an Unbouncer will get in touch!
