Back in September, we made some backend page speed improvements that I’m excited to share with you all today!


Speed Boost has launched! 🚀


What’s Speed Boost?

Speed Boost is a set of backend page speed improvements (complying with Google best practices) to help optimize page delivery and improve load times, so you (and your developers) don’t have to.


What you’ll get from Speed Boost:



  • Optimize CSS delivery

  • Improve server response time

  • Leverage browser caching

  • Minify resources (CSS, JS)

  • Avoid landing page redirects


How to activate Speed Boost:

It’s easy! Simply re-publish any pages that were published any time before September 5th, 2018 (that’s when we fired up the thrusters) to get the benefits from Speed Boost.


If you have any pages that were published after September 5th, Speed Boost will already be activated on them. As always, if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to hit reply! 👇

LIghtboxes always seem to be slower than expected. Any reason why?

@Jess For bulk republish do we need to unpublish first, or simply select + publish?

You don’t need to un-publish anything, just republish any pages that were published before September 5th, 2018 and Speed Boost will be enabled.
