Heat map analytic apps like crazy egg and hotjar don’t have the ability to distinguish between Unbounce variants.(when A/B split testing).


Does anyone know of an app that will do that?

Hotjar can distinguish between variants.

You just have to be on a paid Hotjar plan and fire a bit of JS on the variant you want to track.


Here is the relevant documentation from Hotjar.

P.S. Each Unbounce page has a unique ID along with the variant letter. Incorporate that for your JS trigger.
