Hi,

I’m creating a landing page for a friend who’s a makeup artist. I was wondering if it was possible and if so, how to create an image gallery in a lightbox.

The way I want it to work is if the person clicks on an image on the landing page a lightbox opens where they can scroll through images.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Kind regards,

Mark

Hey Mark!

Thanks for reaching out!

I can give you a bit of a workaround to achieve this. You can use a light box button and set it to display as an image, and then in the light box it triggers an image and another lightbox button. Then when someone clicks that other light box button, it opens a new light box with a new image.

This is sort of like inception for light boxes. (BWOOONG)

Let me know if that sort of makes sense. If some of our @Unbounce-Experts have any better alternatives I’m sure they’ll chime in.

Hope that helps! Let us know how it goes. 😊

Hey @Mark_El-Hayek. We’ve done pretty much as @Jess suggested.

  1. Create lightbox button on landing page

  2. Add image to lightbox (let’s call this lightbox 1)

  3. Add lightbox button to a second lightbox (lightbox 2)

  4. In lightbox 2, add a new button to a third and last lightbox (lightbox 3)

  5. In lightbox 3, add a new button to lightbox 1

  6. Add “back” buttons if you want to be able to navigate back

See attached screenshot.

yeah @Unbounce-Experts handle #FTW 🙂

Awesome way to handle this!

Hello,

I am currently attempting to follow these instructions, however it’s not working for me.

• I make a lightbox button on my landing page

• In “lightbox 1”, I put another lightbox button, going to lightbox 2.

However, when I preview the page, I click the button on “lightbox 1” which is supposed to take me to lightbox 2, but it doesn’t. It just refreshes lightbox 1 over again.

Is there something I am missing?

Thanks 🙂

@Shmeegie

Hello,

I have the same Issues as you had - what were the solutions?

Thanks 🙂

Hey there! We’ve got a post here from the Community here which breaks down the instructions a bit further, have you already seen this?

@Jess

Thank You Jess! But I already have seen this post, it unfortunalety couldn’t help with the problem 😕

I wish I knew. I never got a reply. I’m wondering if it would work if the

page is actually published? Try that and let me know.
