Which posting options can we expect?

Hi, I’m happy to see you’re giving the API an effort now. Looking through the documentation there is stille very few posting options. Do you have a roadmap for new options on their way? Specifically I’m interested in being able to post to change publish status for a page. This would enable us to create timed page publishing for our clients (we’re an agency). Best regards Lars

Database for Dynamic data

Hi. Can any bright spark offer a solution? We love dynamic data. It will reduce our pages from hundreds to a handful. We can insert minimal data from our AdWords. We wish to deliver more dynamic data than AdWords can handle. Maybe 20 parameters such as phone number, address, services etc Can anyone recommend a potential solution, please? We were thinking a cloud hosted database that could return requested fields. Any kind person have any thoughts regarding our options? Many thanks, Carl

Ajaxing the thank you message from a form submission

I was wondering if there is a way to ajax the thank you message in. I’m currently pulling in a 2nd form in through a light box. When the second form is submitted the thank you message appears in a light box on top of my first light box. I don’t feel like this is good UI experience and I was wondering if there’s a way to have the the form disappear and the thank you message appear in the same light box.

I'm using v0.3 of the API, does this mean my code will stop working?

No. v0.3 will still be available, and we’ll make sure to let you know when we deprecate it. But we highly encourage you to migrate from v0.3 to v0.4. You can read more about it in our Getting Started Guide.

Sporadic API Timeouts experienced

Hello, I am developing an Integration to unbounce using PHP via the API. It’s working great, but every so often I get that curl is timing out. It’s usually at the start of the day when I am starting, then it starts working after like 10 minutes and it continues to work. It’s like it needs to ‘warm’ up for lack of better terminology. Here is part of my php code to setup the API: Are there any tips and tricks that I am missing when setting up the API. Thank you!!

hey guys, we were an early Unbounce api beta tester. our integration lets performance marketers increase conversions on their unbounce landing pages, by streaming recent lead signups on their site in real-time. how it works: 1. user connects their Fomo account to Unbounce via OAuth 2. fomo plants webhooks 3. as leads are collected on their Unbounce page, our platform streams them live to other visitors 4. fomo syncs with google analytics to show conversion attribution we track clicks, impressions, work with GA events and goals, and allow custom UTM params. look forward to seeing what others do with the unbounce api. ryan kulp founder, Fomo

How to access Convertable Leads using the API

Unbounce’s API does not currently support Convertables. We may add this in the future, however it is not on our near-term roadmap. There is a workaround for getting Convertable leads by using the Pages endpoint (see documentation here). You’ll just need to substitute the {page_id} with your {convertable_id} and you should be good to go. Disclaimer: This is not a documented access point as we may decide to use a different endpoint to support convertables in the future. Any changes we make to the API may break this functionality so use at your own discretion.

Publishing widespread analysis of Android APKs?

In my quest to gain a better understanding of the Android app development ecosystem, I have spent some time scraping and analysing APKs from various sources en masse. Some insights I’ve gained from this are things like real life numbers of how many types of frameworks for graphics/analytics are used in games and other apps (see end of post for libraries used in a sampling of 3000 “trending” games) I have saved only the metadata from APKs that I have scraped (package name, filenames within, review stats etc.) but no actual content of assets/images/bytecode. My question is, can I then make this giant repository of metadata available if I were to publish results of my findings? I know there are other online websites that give things like percentages only, but I’ve not seen any which provide their metadata. Additionally, websites that rehost APK files for download, is that even legal? Obviously might breach Google ToS, but are they not protected by copyright?

[FIXED] API Bug: Currently Leads Containing Emojis Cannot be submitted via POST to the Unbounce API

UPDATE: This issue has been resolved. Emojis will now be stripped from leads submitted via POST to the API endpoint. We are currently experiencing an issue with the API and submitting leads via POST that contain emojis. If a lead is sent via POST to the Unbounce API and there is an emoji character contained in any of the fields the lead will not make it through to our database. Unfortunately leads that are lost due to this issue cannot be recovered. We are currently working on a fix for this bug and hope to have the issue resolved as soon as possible. For the time being emoji characters cannot be submitted via the Unbounce API. Apologies for an inconvenience.
