Google analytics funnel does not work with form confirmation to URL

I have this setup:

1. contact page:
   /request/

2. step 2: thank you and get more information (another unbounce page to collect additional information):
   /step-2/?name=john&email=john%john.com&website=test.com&phone=5125551212&utm_source=website&ac_tag=website_lead&delay=35

The idea is to setup a funnel from /request/ to /step-2/.

The instructions I see about setting up a funnel in unbounce assume that we will use the form confirmation dialogue. So, they recommend setting up a funnel using /.±form_confirmation.html as the destination URL.

This does not work if we are redirecting to another like above. Looking at analytics, all traffic coming to /step-2/ show they are coming from an external source and not from the first page in our funnel.

Any suggestion on how to set up this funnel in Google?
