Hello, I’m trying to understand if we can trigger a custom tag/event in GTM based on the variables submitted in the form. Say I have a dropdown for region and I want to fire different events based on what region is submitted. Has anyone done this?

Hi @Emily_Todd,
It should be possible but somewhat complicated to do.
You’ll need a custom HTML tag that “listens” for a change in the dropdown and pushes it to the dataLayer.
I figured it out - used this blog post as a reference for those looking to do something similar!
