for SEO-reasons we run all our landing pages behind a top-level domain (no sub) and have set up a CNAME just for the domain used within Unbounce.
If we now place an external link on any unbounce landing page the click-tracking redirect fails with a 410 Error “We’re sorry, but the link you followed appears to be invalid.”.
If we access the same page through the subdomain page, the link works fine.
Now the question: Why do you validate the hostname on the redirect trackings?
Does not work:
https://phraseapp.com/lp/hello-world/clkn/https/www.eventbrite.de/
Does work:
https://lp.phraseapp.com/lp/hello-world/clkn/https/www.eventbrite.de/
Set up for unbounce is lp.phraseapp.com but we would like our CDN redirect via phraseapp.com directly.
