Firing a Custom Event with GTM when a dropdown selection is made in Unbounce

Hello, I’m trying to understand if we can trigger a custom tag/event in GTM based on the variables submitted in the form. Say I have a dropdown for region and I want to fire different events based on what region is submitted. Has anyone done this? Thanks in advance! Emily
