Blue Button Background

I’m adding more short orange buttons to a landing page template and when I preview the page, the buttons have blue backgrounds when I scroll over them. How do I make the blue part transparent? As far as I can tell, the added buttons are exactly the same as the original button on the template except for the blue background. Thanks!
