How to Access the Lightbox options in JS?

I would like to access and play with the embed functions of the Lightbox (the one from the button setup). For instance, How to prevent the click on the overlay to close the lightbox ? How to properly close the lightbox using a simple Button inside the lightbox ? like the standards options of Fancybox 3. (Lightbox are generally loaded at the botom of the page withinh a div class=“backdrop__xxx”.)
