[How to] Create a Typed Text Effect In Unbounce

Hello @Noah, I’m not sure if anyone else has noticed this. But it seems that the typed text effect does not work with many other javascripts. It appears that many of the other javascripts on the forum compete with the typed text effect and the typed text effect stops working. Just thought I would point this out. I’m no programmer, so maybe I’m wrong. But I’ve tried the typed text effect in combination with several effects, all of which work but stop the typed text effect. Then I’ve also tried several effects together without the typed text effect, and all of those seem to work in harmony (even in separate variants, I’ve tried adding typed text within the same variant javascript but it doesn’t help). Anyways, if someone has a solution, that would be awesome because the typed text effect is really cool!

[Tips & Scripts] On-Scroll Animations

Hello. I was going to have this on scroll animation bounceIn for a button. I also had the typed text effect from another thread on this forum. It appears that both together won’t work. Does multiple code effects cause issues with one another? I put them both in their own section (like I added a new body end tag section for both the java and style sheet). Thanks for any help. Edit: I’m not applying both effects to the same object. The bounceIn is on a button. The typed text effect is on a completely different text box.

Button Shake/Seesaw Effect

@Caroline @Kyle.C Thank you both! Kyle, cool feature. The countdown feature at the bottom was neat too (faster decrease as you scroll and stable decrease as you sit on the page). How’d you do that? I was very disappointed when I sat there and scrolled to find out all the posters were gone before I could claim one…😥 😜 Caroline, thank you. I actually saw and read the on-scroll animations post, but didn’t really catch on that you could change the effect until I read it again this time. I found this link that shows what each feature looks like: https://daneden.github.io/animate.css/. I was actually looking for the “swing” effect. Thank you both again! Zach

Hi @Luis_Francisco! Thank you for this. So, rather than automatically rotating (after a few seconds), this code will produce one of the sticky bars randomly upon reloading the page? Is that right? Zach

Yeah, I have looked at A/B testing for single sticky bars. I was going for an increase in anxiousness to click with rotating sticky bars that would grab user’s attention while interchanging. Maybe it wouldn’t increase a conversion rate, but I figured it might. Maybe someone will end up coding it! 🤣

Hi @Nicholas! Thanks for the feedback again. If you don’t mind looking at it one more time, I did go with one of the unbounce lead generation templates. I think this one looks much cleaner and is much more efficient at getting to the point. I appreciate any feedback. Zach
