Billing and clients

Hi Paolo! Thanks for all this. Right now there are a couple of options you can pursue: Get your clients to sign up for their own Unbounce account and get them to add you as an author or admin user on their account so you can create and publish pages for them. This way would in fact cost more for each of your clients as they would be paying for the full price of Unbounce each time. Like Daniel mentioned above, if you add more clients to your account at a cost of $10 each, you would only minimally be increasing your overall cost each time you add a client and would save over time. This is the structure we typically recommend and the explanation of how and why you should set it up this way can be found in our new agency ecourse here (under sections 2 & 3). Not only can you gain some cost savings for you and your client, but you’ll also benefit from a better workflow by setting up your account with the Clients structure. You would probably find this Workshop helpful as well &#x1f

Subdomains vs. Subdirectories: Explaining Pros and Cons with Clients

Hi Samantha! I wouldn’t say one or the other is betterÑit’s just that since we host the landing pages, using subdomains is the option that’s available. Really, it shouldn’t make a difference either way! For example, having your landing page in a subdirectory would be good for SEO, but if you’re running multiple campaigns that drive to landing pages with similar copy, that’s actually bad for SEO anyways, so you should be hiding those pages. If any of your clients that prefer the subdirectory route are using WordPress, you’ll be able to publish them soon that way instead. Keep an eye out 🙂 We also just launched this ecourse especially for agencies, if you want to take a look and learn a few of the practices we recommend.

Clients+pages

Just wanted to chime in here! Alban, glad our Support Team was able to help you out with this. For anyone else just starting out with their Unbounce accounts (especially if you are a consultant or agency creating pages on behalf of clients), it’s worth checking out this article about how to efficiently set up Clients & Users for providing different levels of access and organization from the get-go (so you save yourself the headache later). Using “Clients” will allow you to do things like copy pages between clients, download all leads at a client level, and maintain separation between one client’s work and another’s (pages, domains, image assets, stats, etc.) You can read this post for more a detailed explanation of the benefits. If you’re an agency, you might also want to take a look at our ecourse: Landing Page Strategies for Agencies! Hope these resources are helpful.

Introduction Thread

HAY HAY! I’m the Customer Success Manager at Unbounce. Previously I was on our marketing team running social, so you may have talked to me/seen me chiming in on Twitter, Facebook, one of our other channels or around the web until Hayley took over! Before I started here, I knew basically zip about landing pages… so nothing makes me happier than getting to spread the knowledge and help our amazing customers get the most out of Unbounce. I’m interested in hearing all about you and your needs, as well as learning a few new tricks from some of the bright marketing minds in here 🙂 My hobbies include eating and drinking… and many outdoor sports because of the eating and drinking (although sometimes they still factor in there, too.)
