How can you create rounded box corners?

Okay, the above image didn’t upload very clearly, so here is another example with more space on the sides so you can see the rounded corners better. Also, when you draw the rectangle, be sure to put it on a transparent background. That way, you can easily change the layout’s background in the future without recreating your images.

If you’re talking about how Unbounce has rounded table edges, that is actually an image. To create that look in Unbounce, create three sections. In a nicer graphic program, create a rounded rectangle that is the same width as your table in Unbounce–be sure you use the same exact color in both programs. For the top of the table, crop off the bottom portion of the rectangle, save it, and set it as the top section’s background in Unbounce. Then, in the graphic program, undo the cropping so that you can then crop the top portion of the rectangle off so that you can save the bottom portion and make it the bottom section’s background in Unbounce. The middle section in Unbounce should have just the hex/html color set as the background–you don’t have to use an image. I hope this isn’t confusing. I’ve attached an image to help you visualize what I mean by cropping. The image would be set to be the bottom section’s background.

How to View a Published Page Outside of Unbounce

Hey! I’m not at all nervous about using the command prompt-- my husband has had me use it before to troubleshoot problems (he’s a software engineer). When I ping ads.unitrends.com, our DNS server can’t find it. However, when I ping the address at home using Road Runner, it works. I will get our IT support to fix this on Monday. Thank you for helping me pin point this problem! 🙂

Hi Carl, I used the copy button and when I paste it into Firefox, I get a “problem loading page” error. In Chrome, I get an “Oops! Google Chrome can’t find ads.unitrends.com” error. ~Sara Beth

How to View a Published Page Outside of Unbounce

Hey Carl! They are definitely all published! We’ve been getting conversions, which we are tracking in Unbounce. They all have the blue “Published” button, except for when I make new changes and they say “new changes.” I know the unpublished button is a bright golden yellow. Also as another way to verify that they are published, AdWords would tell me my URL is invalid and would disapprove my ad if it wasn’t published. That’s the strange thing–it just seems like I should be able to view my pages completely outside of Unbounce by typing in my page’s URL in a browser! ~Sara Beth

Which button is getting the clicks?

Hi Chris! I’m not sure what kind of buttons you have, but if it is a button for a form, then you can track the clicks if you use an email marketing service (like Silverpop). For example, on my site, I frequently ask visitors to request certain documents via a form. Once people fill out the form/survey that I created in Silverpop (I paste the html code into my pages), I can track how many people Silverpop sends the email to and how many people click the link to download the document that they first requested from my landing page. With your two buttons, you would use two unique surveys that you can independently track. Maybe something like that would work for you or perhaps someone else reading this 🙂 ~Sara Beth

Hey Adam! If you ever want to figure out a color code again (and have Photoshop or some other art program), you can always take a screen capture of your monitor (with the color visible in your screen capture) and then use the eyedropper in your art program to get the color code. ~Sara Beth

Hi Alexandra, I ran into this same problem myself. I use a Silverpop form and place it into a custom html box but I kept having button image issues. For some reason, my form’s submit image was really finicky–I think it had something to do with the fact that I placed the form into a table to help organize the fields better. My form would not work at all unless I removed the tag lines to outside of the table. Anyways, to solve my button issue, as I said before, I placed my form code into a custom html box. I also created a style sheet to define a class for my fields, text, and button. In the class, I set my button as a background image and defined the button width/height/ and background color. I had to upload the button image itself to my company’s website, and I linked the image in my background tag defined in my class. Of course, in the custom html box, I had to apply the class to the submit input tag line. I hope the two sets of code shows below. The first is the class that goes in my

The Unbounce User Guide is Now Available!

Hey! Just got started looking at the guide. Thanks for creating it! As a quick note, there is a typo under section 3.07 Buttons. The fifth bullet has “acn” instead of can. The sentence reads: “You acn edit the text and fill colors of the button or make more attractive buttons by uploading graphics to use for each button state.” Have a good day!
