Hey LADIES! 

Jess, I LOVE VancUBER! I think it should def be a part of the marketing strategy when they are able to operate in the city. 😁 In terms of all the paperwork, it does not necessarily have to do with the insurance companies but more the regulations the cities put on the rideshare programs + the small amount of knowledge most of our partner-drivers have with technology. While all the resources are at their fingertips online with step by step processes via desktop and mobile app, there is still that huge disconnect that the partner-drivers can upload all the documents themselves via the app. Those that come in with documents to upload generally mention “it wasn’t working for me” or “I didn’t know how to do it”. In the second case, we have teaching moments where we educate them so they are able to do it themselves the next time. In terms of better workflows, there are so many parts to the process. Hey LADIES! 

Hi ladies! My very first post here 🙂 My name is Laura and I am currently working at Uber in the City Operations team in Portland as a Partner Support Specialist. I work solely to educate the partners about the Uber platform, guide them with the onboarding process with all of the necessary paperwork, and troubleshoot any problems or help with any questions current drivers may have when they come into the Uber hub. We work solely as a face to face community. There is no email or phone connected to our hub, because we believe speaking with partners face to face is important! Currently, I am working on finding solutions to our onboarding process when new partners come into the hub. Our ticket times are not optimal since many of our partners come in not having all the paperwork completed to sign up and drive on the platform. Since we have to walk through extra steps that could have been done at home, our ticket times are much longer than they they should be. My project is to devise
