Hey @Cameron_R, Can’t work out for the life of me why it’s happening, but you could add this CSS to move the button up a little: #lp-pom-button-21 { margin-top: -90px; } Be sure to check in mobile mode!

Firing an Unbounce conversion on click / custom event

Hey @jboyski, yes, I’ve tried firing the external tracking script from Google Tag Manager. My understanding is this script isn’t intended to work on the actual Unbounce page, although I may be mistaken. The tag is definitely firing (I’m console logging to prove this), perhaps you could expand on your last para? All the best,

Can not enter a bracket into the form field input name/ID

Hey these are the only assumptions on the script: 1.) The page that links to Shopify has the “email” param in the URL (it was “http://unbouncepages.com/b3g2-upsells/” for me, and seems to OK!) 2.) The button that links to the Shopify page is called “lp-pom-button-112” (this is the ID of the first “No thanks” button on the b3g2-upsells page). The script just does the following: 1.) Take the “email” param out of the URL in the browser bar 2.) Change the location of any href called “lp-pom-button-112” to include the param in that format. There’s no need to change your initial landing page or submit button 🙂

Ahh, I thought you wanted to pre-populate your Unbounce form field (and were unable to do so due to the restriction)… but you actually want to pass the URL params through to the Shopify page. On the last Unbounce page, I’d use some custom JS to pull the query params out as before, then add to the link - something like this: <script type="text/javascript"> //Pull the window location into a variable and make it searchable via URLSearchParams (95%+ browser support) const url = window.location; const params = new URLSearchParams(url.search); // Get the email param from the query string const emailParam = params.get('email'); // You'll need to do this for every button/link you need to append the email to. No prob. I’m not aware of any reason domain level script wouldn’t work, just wanted to convey that it does need to be installed on Unbounce 🙂 Form class or ID are fine. Specificity is normally best so normally I’d say ID, but in Unbounce it’s possible to have a form ID of #lp-pom-form-16 (for example) on multiple forms (weird), so I would recommend giving your form a custom class like this: … and then targeting it in GTM like this (“Form classes” is a built in variable): image798×165 10.5 KB Alternatively, you can just do it by the page location if that fits your needs.

This seems pretty straightforward; just fire some custom code (an alert or console log or something) in GTM listening for the gtm.formsubmit event. When that’s working, add some cookie code instead (eg. https://www.analyticsmania.com/post/cookies-with-google-tag-manager/) Cookies can be a pain to work with as they’re fussy over domains, but don’t see any problems as long as you only need to read the value from GTM.

Change/Append to UTM

Hi @P_Fonseca1, I did something like this a very long time ago. If all you’re interested in doing is saving the campaign and variant to your database, you can access the Unbounce variant using ub.page.variantId. See this thread on how to push this into the database - Get variant name in report and or GTM It’s not quite the full story (doesn’t deal with getting the campaign name from the query param, but that’s not hard), but is hopefully a push in the right direction. FWIW, overwriting UTMs is a bit of an antipattern - I’d create a new custom one called utm_variant or something, then the campaign is always intact 🙂

Hey @marcogk. The restriction on playing videos unmuted is a Chrome restriction (with other browsers like Safari following suit) rather than a Youtube restriction. See: https://vimeo.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/115004485728-Autoplaying-and-looping-embedded-videos I’d consider embedding an autoplayed, muted video and: Rely less on sound - use subtitles or visual cues more in your video Ask users to unmute the video by highlighting the button (like Instagram’s “SOUND” sticker) Sorry it’s not the answer you wanted. FWIW, I have a muted vid on my homepage and it works well.

Hey @s.bacci, Your problem was caused by your “container_email” element being set to by the script to 140px. Hopefully you can just change this in the editor (hard to debug without access!), but if not, the following CSS will fix it: div#container_email { width: 100% !Important } input#email { width: 100% !Important } fieldset.step{ width: 100% !important } I also noticed the same thing happened to your checkbox, so this can be overridden as follows: input[name="privacy_consent"] { width: 20px !Important; } Here’s what I ended up with - All the best,

Ah I see. I think this is probably outside the scope of the (easily modified) script. One way you could achieve a similar result would be to have one landing page to capture the email, then submit this to a second page that contains the rest of the questions (either where the form is in a lightbox coded to show on entry, or simply something that “looks like” a lightbox). You can use configure a hidden email field on page 2 to be prepopulated with the value from step 1 - that way you capture all the emails on page 1, but also have them on page 2. Hope that makes sense, I wrote this on my phone!

Hey @ygivechi, the duedil form seems to just be a validated email on the first page and 5 additional fields on the next. If that’s all you’re looking for, the script on this thread should be OK for you with no modifications - what were you looking to do?

Hey Joe, sure to Zapier - but the direction I’d like to take the Unbounce version in is that it submits via the Unbounce form. That way, you keep their lovely conversion tracking, lead management and integrations (eg. Zapier) intact. I’ve previously used form builders that bring leads outside of the ecosystem and it really ruins split testing and success tracking. BTW - If you use Zapier, you can achieve a “reply email” with Zapier’s email zap.
