I’ve used Unbounce for many years, using Unbounce to host my sales funnel, https://app.sunwisecapital.com. I’ve decided to host it on my site https://sunwisecapital.com/applynow. We use Hubspot to record/capture fields. Once they prospect hits the last page of the 9 steps, they hit a thank-you page (https://sunwisecapital.com/thank-you/) which asks them to click on a link (https://sunwisecapital.com/application) to take them to the one-page application hosted by rightsignature. I’ve had a CRO analysis and we found we have 50% of our leads drop off from the start to the end. So if 100 people start we only get 50 leads. What I’m looking for is to make the steps very fast and smooth, so there is no lag or waiting. Then when they get to the last step, that info is sent to Hubspot in case they do not go on to complete the application. Assuming they do go to the application (right now 50 - 80 % will complete it) I want to have some of the info captured to pre-fill the application (i.e., name, phone, etc.) and then present them with the application. I know that you can paste the HTML Form code into the body of the "Embed Custom HTML Code" Unbounce field. The key is that we must capture signature with time stamp, IP, etc. I know this sounds more challenging than it is, except I’ve got limited tech and Unbounce skills. If you go through the funnel, you’ll see it’s easier than it reads. I do have “brief” if you need more explanation.
Hi
Currently you are trying to “hack” a multi-step form by tying together 7-8 separate landing pages or however many steps you have in your first form.
By doing this you are essentially forcing the visitor to load the same number of pages although on the surface they are pretty much the same page except the form/question section.
You’ll need a true multi-step form on your page in order to cut down this jumping from page to page.
If you want to use the native Unbounce form there are a couple of scripts here in the community that might help you get there although they won’t get you 100% to the finish line based on what I saw from your current form.
Your other option is to custom code a multi-step form and embed it on your Unbounce LP. This option is more technical but would give you a lot more flexibility in terms of design, functionality and performance.
Last but not least, you’ve mentioned capturing additional information as a requirement and that can only happen with a custom form embed.
Here’s a proposed approach:
-
Optimize Funnel Steps:
- Simplify each step of the funnel to minimize drop-offs. Ensure that each step loads quickly and provides clear, concise instructions to the users.
- Use conditional logic to display only relevant fields, reducing the time and effort required from prospects.
-
Seamless Hubspot Integration:
- Configure Hubspot to capture all necessary fields at each step of the funnel. This way, even if a prospect doesn’t complete the entire process, you’ll have their information saved.
- Use Hubspot’s workflow automation to follow up with prospects who drop off, encouraging them to complete the application.
-
Prefill Application Form:
- Utilize Hubspot’s data to pre-fill the RightSignature application form with the captured information (name, phone, etc.).
- Ensure that the transition from the thank-you page to the application form is smooth and instantaneous.
-
Capture Essential Information:
- Embed the RightSignature form within your thank-you page or a subsequent step, ensuring that it captures the required details such as signature, timestamp, IP address, etc.
- Use Unbounce’s custom HTML field to integrate the form seamlessly.
-
Technical Assistance:
- Given the limited tech skills, consider collaborating with a developer who can assist in setting up the integrations and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
- Alternatively, use Unbounce’s support and resources to guide you through the process.
I’d be happy to go through the funnel and provide more specific suggestions if needed. Please share the “brief” for further clarification if required.
