I just want to make sure I understand all the players and their roles. SquareSpace is where my domain lives and some of my website such as my blog. Unbounce is my landing page which I’ve linked to AWeber which is the integration I use for email marketing. Does that sound about right?
Hi there,
Great question. Okay, so Squarespace is a website builder. If you registered your website domain through Squarespace, then yes, you manager your domain through them, but technically they “live” at Tucows, which is the domain registrar that Squarespace uses.
Unbounce is a landing page builder, and typically, you’d set up a subdomain for your Unbounce pages through Squarespace’s domain management tool. That way, your Unbounce pages have their own subdomain.
AWeber is an email marketing platform, and yes, you’d want to connect it to anywhere you intend to collect leads, such as Unbounce. That way, when people fill out a form, the info is passed to AWeber.
So yes, the way you have it outlined in your post sounds correct. If you have any other questions, let us know.
