We changed some copy and the meta data for a landing page yet when we share the page on LinkedIn it’s pulling the previous meta data. Facebook is not doing this - Facebook pulls the current meta data.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how to fix this?

Most social networks cache metadata for links shared on their respective platforms.


Fortunately, they also provide a debug/re-scrape tools to fix issues like yours.


Here is a link for LinkedIn’s inspector tool which should pull the new data.

EDIT: Otherwise they keep it for 7 days and after that period it should pull the new information automatically.
