We have landing pages that are in JP and DE languages and want to be able to use a JP or DE domain/URL such as http://試す.imperva.com/デモ. Is this possible to set up in Unbouce? When adding the domain it says it is not a valid domain and when changing a page URL it does not accept it and just sets it to the default URL. Any insight on this would be great.; Thank you.
This has been answered via support ticket and you can’t do it. See below.

Hey there Justin,
Jeferson from Unbounce here - thanks for reaching out!
It’s not possible to add these types of special characters in Unbounce domains. This is because many browsers cannot accept domains with special characters.
I’ve done a search on using accents and special characters in URLs and found this really informative video- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4TKJwvTu50. Essentially, while Google does recognize special characters, it is generally not recommended to use them in URLs as they’re not compatible with all search engines.
With that said, you can use special characters by encoding the URL. Here’s a really great online encoder- https://www.urlencoder.org/. If you run the word containing the special character through this tool, it’ll convert it in a way the browser can read.
I hope that points you in the right direction. Let me know if you have any further questions on this, Justin!
