Hi, we’re a lead gen company and we’d like visibility into how test variants affect people actually buying. Is there a way to get the Variant ID and submit it in a hidden field in a form? I found way to do something similar using GTM and Google Analytics but the issue is that we’re not using GA as our reporting and I need to get it to a third party along with all the form data from that user.

Hi there @IX-Marketing,

Thanks for your post. The variant ID is captured automatically and shown as one of the columns in the leads tab:

Can I ask how you are currently pushing the leads data into your third party tool?

Looking forward to hearing from you :-)

We send the lead data to our CRM via a post URL. We’re already passing the campaign data as hidden fields so if we could create a hidden field in our form that populates with the variant ID that would do the trick for us.

Thanks for getting back to me on this matter, @IX-Marketing

There is a way to do this. It’s a bit manual, but should work provided you create a field in your CRM to receive this value. Here’s a short video showing you how.

Hope this helps!
