I have placed the Adwords Call Tracking script on an Unbounce landing page. I am wanting to make the DYNAMIC number that is generates clickable on mobile.


I know I can do the “tel:XXX” in the text, but it would bring up that exact number in their dialer on their phone rather than the dynamic number that was placed on the site by the Google script.


Is there a method to making the dynamic number from the Google Call Tracking script clickable?

From my understanding most cell phones will pick up text that looks like “xxx-xxx-xxxx” as phone numbers, rendering them clickable from a mobile device.


I just tested this with a customer’s page (they only pay about $0.80/click) and the number was successfully swapped + clickable on my iphone 6s.
