Hey 🙂


I am having some problem with getting all the information from my fields to campaignmonitor.


My landingpage has a leadmagnet where all you need to do is give your email - but I have also added a checkbox you can check to be on our newsletter aswell.


I have set up the fieldmapping, so the field should be connected. However, in CM there is no information in the feild for the newsletter on any of the subscribers…


What am I doing wrong?

  1. I have a feeling you are complicating something that should be simple. When visitors signup for your lead magnet, they are automatically enrolled into your email sequence (If you want to be nice, you can also mention that in a single line on the form where they sign up).


If they don’t want to hear from you, they’ll unsubscribe.



  1. I don’t think the checkbox is actually making any difference (as in, it’s not adding any new information for CM to pick on).


Field mapping is used best when you have other information you ask (like phone numbers and zip codes) that you’d like to map with CM for segmenting or for use later on.
