An assist? Changing the Contents menu labels

Sorry if this is not the right place for this question, but… For better SEO, should I be changing the labels of items under Contents (the left-side menu) to reflect better what is on my landing page? That is, when the Contents item says “Featured Text copy” should I change it to “Come visit our local hardware store” as it says on my page? and when it says “Heading,” should I change it, within that Contents menu, to read what my actual heading says?
