There I am facing the same dilemma, if you use a custom script widget you are entering the code within a frame that has padding/margins.
Just using the Typeform button script, means you cannot customise it to exactly how you want and secondly you have to open the link on a separate domain belonging to typeform.
My suggestion is to copy the HTML code, create a new file “index.html” and then uploading it to either a folder in your domain.
Like your domain in unbounce is… www.smile.com
You can create a separate hosting account, in a specific folder, this can be named form for eg
So your landing page will be
www.smile.com/landing-page/ AND your typeform will be www.smile.com/form/
So if you have a CTA button on your landing page it will open the type form under the same URL but in another folder (hosting).
